What it does. A scheduled job queue entry polls the Wix eCommerce REST API (Stores / Orders) and writes each paid order into BC as a Sales Order or posted Sales Invoice, mapping line items to your items by SKU. Products and collections publish outward from BC item cards, so your catalog stays mastered where your accountants work. Item availability and unit price sync on a configurable cadence to prevent overselling. Customers are matched or created against the BC Customer table, and once a shipment posts, tracking and fulfillment status write back to the Wix order automatically.

How long until the connector is live, and what do you need from me?

What happens with support and updates after go-live?

After that, an agreed support window covers Business Central monthly/major upgrade compatibility, Wix API changes, and minor field-mapping adjustments. Because you receive the full AL source, you are never locked in — your own BC partner can maintain it too. Larger feature additions are scoped separately.

It is installed as a per-tenant extension on your specific Business Central environment. That lets us tailor table/page extensions, event subscribers and mappings to your exact configuration without the constraints of a one-size-fits-all AppSource listing. It runs fully inside BC — no external middleware subscription required.
Will it work with my existing items, customers and posting setup?
Yes. The connector maps to your existing BC Item and Customer tables by SKU and email, and posts through your standard Sales Order/Invoice routines so your number series, dimensions, tax and G/L posting stay exactly as configured. We map fields with you during setup rather than forcing a fixed schema.
How does it avoid overselling and duplicate orders?
Inventory availability syncs from BC to Wix on a schedule you choose, so stock levels reflect real ERP quantity. Order import uses an idempotent key on the Wix order ID, so a retried or re-polled order is never imported twice. A sync log page records every transaction and lets you reprocess any that fail.
Can it handle more than one Wix store, or Dataverse and Power BI?
Yes to both. The extension supports multiple Wix stores against one BC tenant with per-store mapping. Where reporting matters, we can surface connector and sales data through Dataverse / the Power Platform so you can build Power BI dashboards or trigger Power Automate flows on new orders.
