WMS Mobile Warehouse for Business Central replaces clipboards and re-keyed spreadsheets with a barcode-driven mobile workflow that posts directly into Dynamics 365 Business Central. Your team scans a bin, a license plate, an item and a quantity — and the corresponding warehouse receipt, put-away, pick, movement, item journal or warehouse shipment posts in BC in real time, against the correct location, bin and lot/serial.
This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant AppSource download. ECOSIRE builds it in AL as a per-tenant extension (table extensions, page extensions and event subscribers over Business Central's standard Warehouse and Inventory tables), then installs and supports it on your BC environment — Online (SaaS) or on-prem. The mobile client talks to BC through the published REST/OData v4 API (custom API pages) so every scan is a transactional, permission-checked post, never a flat-file import.
We scope your real warehouse flows first: directed put-away and bin replenishment, zone-based directed/guided picking, license-plate (pallet) handling, cycle and physical counts, and pack-and-ship with carrier label hooks. The build respects your existing location setup (bin-mandatory vs. simple, directed put-away & pick), your number series, and your dimensions. Long-running posts are offloaded to the job queue so the handheld stays responsive, and a dedicated permission set keeps floor users out of everything but their tasks.
Because it lives in your tenant, it upgrades cleanly with Business Central's monthly and major releases, and it can extend into Dataverse / Power Platform (Power BI dock-to-stock dashboards, Power Automate exception alerts) when you want it. You own the source. ECOSIRE delivers it, validates it against your data, and supports it.
Runs receiving, putaway and picking on printed sheets and re-keying. Wants real-time stock accuracy, directed tasks for staff, and an end to transcription errors — without ripping out Business Central.
Owns inventory accuracy and fulfillment KPIs across one or more sites. Needs license-plate handling, cycle counting and dock-to-stock visibility that posts live to BC and feeds Power BI.
Responsible for the tenant's extensions and upgrade hygiene. Values a clean per-tenant AL extension over hidden customizations, with a scoped permission set, API-based posting, and owned source code.

No. WMS Mobile Warehouse is build-to-order. ECOSIRE constructs it in AL as a per-tenant extension tailored to your warehouse flows, location and bin setup, then installs it on your own Business Central environment (Online or on-prem). There is no instant marketplace download — you get a deployed, validated extension plus the source code.
Typical lead time is about 3 to 5 weeks from scoping sign-off, depending on how many flows (receive, put-away, pick, move, count, pack/ship) and sites are in scope and whether you need license-plate or Dataverse integration. We start with a short discovery to map your physical warehouse to BC setup, then build, validate against your data, and run a handover. We confirm a firm date in writing before work begins.
It runs on standard Android — both rugged scanners (Zebra/Honeywell-class) and ordinary phones using the camera for on-device decode. It reads common 1D and 2D symbologies (Code 128, Code 39, EAN/UPC, QR, Data Matrix). We confirm your exact devices and label formats during scoping.
Yes. Because it is a per-tenant AL extension built over standard BC tables and the official REST/OData API — not a hacked base-app modification — it upgrades alongside Business Central's release cadence. ECOSIRE provides a post-go-live support window covering bug fixes and release-compatibility maintenance, and ongoing support plans are available after that. You own the source either way.
Real-time and transactional. Each scan calls a custom API page over BC's REST/OData v4 endpoint, which posts the matching warehouse receipt, put-away, pick, movement, inventory journal or shipment under the user's permissions. Long-running posts are handed to the BC job queue so the device stays responsive. Nothing relies on overnight flat-file imports.
