QuickBooks & Xero Accounting Sync is a Shopify app that ECOSIRE custom-builds, installs and supports for your store — not an instant App Store download. After purchase we connect to your Shopify Admin via OAuth, wire the Admin GraphQL API and order/refund/payout webhooks, and connect QuickBooks Online or Xero through their official OAuth APIs. The result is bookkeeping that runs hands-off and actually reconciles.

Most stores drown in line-item noise: thousands of individual orders, Shopify Payments fees buried inside payouts, tax that never ties out, and gift cards booked as revenue. This app takes the opposite, accountant-approved approach. Instead of one messy entry per order, it groups activity by Shopify payout and posts a single summarized journal entry per deposit — with gross sales, discounts, shipping, taxes, processing fees, refunds, chargebacks and gift-card liability each mapped to the correct ledger account.

Because every entry is built around the payout, the net amount matches the exact bank deposit that lands in your QuickBooks or Xero bank feed — so reconciliation becomes a one-click match instead of a month-end investigation. We also run a historical import so prior periods are clean and consistent, and we handle multi-currency stores by recording presentment vs. settlement amounts and posting realized FX differences correctly.
