Shopify has no native purchasing module. Purchase Orders & Supplier Management is a Shopify embedded app that ECOSIRE builds and installs for your store to close that gap. It is not an instant App Store download — we configure it to your suppliers, locations, and replenishment rules, then install it into your Shopify admin as a custom app.
What it does. Maintain a supplier directory with contacts, currencies, lead times, and per-supplier cost catalogs. Generate purchase orders, send them as branded PDFs or email, and track status from draft to received. Reorder suggestions are driven by sales velocity pulled through the Admin GraphQL API, your configured reorder points, and supplier lead times — so the app tells you what to buy and when. Receive deliveries with a barcode scan (full or partial), and stock is written back to the correct Shopify location via inventory mutations. Landed-cost fields (freight, duty, handling) roll into a true per-unit cost so your margins reflect reality.
How it connects. The app authenticates via OAuth, stores PO and supplier data in app metafields plus its own backing store, and subscribes to inventory and product webhooks to stay in sync. Multi-location inventory is respected throughout. Because we build it to order, the data model, PDF layout, approval steps, and forecasting logic are tailored to how you actually purchase — not forced into a generic template.
