This is a build-to-order Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce extension — not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds the connector against your store, installs it on your environment, and supports it. You get a real Magento module under app/code/Ecosire/OttoMarketplace (or installed via Composer into vendor/), wired the Magento way: service contracts for the OTTO API client, dependency injection via di.xml, plugins/interceptors around product and stock save, observers on sales_order_save_after, scheduled jobs in crontab.xml, and admin screens guarded by ACL resources.
The connector talks to the OTTO Partner Connect API to push and maintain your catalog and to pull orders. Bulk listing maps your Magento attribute sets and categories to OTTO's category tree and required attributes, with EAN matching so existing OTTO product references are reused and new ones enter OTTO's approval workflow before going live. Inventory and price sync keep your Magento source quantities (MSI-aware, single or multi-source) and prices aligned with OTTO on a cron cadence, with throttling that respects OTTO rate limits. OTTO order import pulls marketplace orders into native Magento sales_order records — your team fulfills, ships and uploads tracking from Magento, and carrier/tracking flows back to OTTO so the buyer is notified.
Because OTTO is a German-language marketplace, German content and attribute mapping is first-class: localized titles, descriptions, and attribute values map to OTTO's expected German fields. Everything runs against the standard bin/magento toolchain — setup:upgrade, setup:di:compile, indexers and cron — and works on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. Is this an instant download from the Adobe Commerce Marketplace?
No. This is a build-to-order extension. After purchase ECOSIRE builds the OTTO connector against your specific Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce install, configures it with your OTTO Partner Connect credentials, installs it on your staging then production environment, and verifies sync end to end. You are buying the engineering, installation and support — not a self-serve Marketplace listing.
What is the delivery lead time?
Typical delivery is about one working week from kickoff, depending on catalog size, how clean your attribute sets and EANs are, and how much custom category mapping OTTO requires for your assortment. We start in the OTTO sandbox, validate listings and order import there, then cut over to production. We confirm a firm timeline after a short scoping call once we see your catalog and Magento version.
Does it work on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce?
Yes. The module uses standard Magento 2 service contracts, di.xml, plugins, observers and cron, so it installs the same way on Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. How are OTTO's required attributes and the approval workflow handled?

New products enter OTTO's approval workflow; the admin sync-status view shows what is pending, approved or rejected, and rejected items can be corrected and re-queued. What about ongoing support and updates after launch?
ECOSIRE supports the connector after launch. Because OTTO evolves its Partner Connect API and category requirements over time, we offer ongoing maintenance to keep the integration current — handling API changes, new required attributes, and Magento upgrades. We agree the support arrangement during scoping; the build price covers delivery and a defined warranty period, with maintenance available beyond that.
