Order Preparation (Pick-Pack-Ship) for Magento 2 turns ad-hoc order fulfillment into a structured, error-resistant daily workflow your warehouse team can actually follow. Instead of staff toggling between the native Sales > Orders grid and printed slips, this extension gives them a dedicated admin workspace that walks each order from pick → pack → ship with state tracking at every step.
This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. ECOSIRE engineers build the module under app/code/Ecosire/OrderPreparation, install it on your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce instance, configure it to your warehouse layout, and support it afterward. Because we write it for your store, it respects your existing custom order statuses, carrier integrations and source/stock setup rather than forcing a generic template onto them.
Under the hood it is built the right way: a custom UI component grid for the picklist queue, service contracts (PHP interfaces under Api/) so pick/pack/ship logic is reusable from admin, REST and GraphQL; plugins/interceptors rather than core overrides; observers on sales_order_shipment_save_after; and dedicated admin ACL resources so warehouse roles see only what they should. Is this an instant download from the Adobe Commerce Marketplace?
No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE builds the module for your specific Magento install, then installs and configures it for you. There is no instant marketplace download — you get a working, fitted system rather than a generic package you have to integrate yourself.
How long does delivery take after I order?
Typical delivery is about one working week depending on your environment and how much you customize the pick/pack/ship rules, barcode and carrier integrations. We start on a staging copy of your store, confirm the workflow with you, then deploy to production. We'll give you a firm timeline after a short scoping call.
Does it work with my existing carriers, custom order statuses and Multi Source Inventory?
Yes. Because we build it against your instance, it integrates with your configured shipping methods and carrier label flow, respects your custom order statuses, and is MSI-aware so picks deduct from the correct stock source. It works on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce (including B2B company assignments).
Will a Magento upgrade or security patch break it?
It's built with plugins/interceptors, observers and service contracts rather than core file overrides, which is the upgrade-safe approach. It's designed to survive Magento minor and patch releases. For major version jumps we offer a compatibility-update arrangement to test and adjust as needed.
What ongoing support and updates do I get?
Every build includes a post-launch warranty period covering defects in the delivered workflow. Beyond that you can take an optional ongoing support and compatibility-update plan — we keep the module working across Magento patch releases, handle adjustments to your fulfillment rules, and stay reachable when your team needs a change.
Can warehouse staff use it on scanners or do they need full admin access?
You don't have to give warehouse staff broad admin access. The module ships dedicated ACL resources (pick / pack / ship / configure), so operators see only the fulfillment workspace. The pick/pack/ship actions are also exposed via service contracts over REST and GraphQL, so handheld scanners or an external app can drive the same logic.
