The Excel add-in chokes past a few thousand rows. This tool replaces that workflow with a purpose-built engine that reads and writes Business Central tables directly — typically importing 30x+ faster than configuration packages on real-world data loads.
The Data Import/Export Power Tool is an AL extension delivered as a per-tenant (PTE) extension installed straight onto your Business Central environment — Online (SaaS) or on-premises. It is not an instant AppSource download. ECOSIRE builds it to your data shape, installs it as a signed per-tenant app, wires the permission sets, and configures it against the exact tables you need.

No. This is a build-to-order per-tenant (PTE) AL extension. ECOSIRE builds it to your data shape, signs it, and installs it directly onto your Business Central environment. There is no public AppSource listing or instant download link — you get a tailored install plus the source code and a runbook.
What is the delivery lead time?
Typical lead time is 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff, depending on how many tables and custom fields are in scope and whether your environment is Online or on-premises. After a short scoping call we confirm an exact date in writing. Straightforward single-environment installs land at the faster end of that range.
How do ongoing support and updates work?
Every build includes a defined post-install support and update window. Because you receive the full AL source and an upgrade runbook, the extension is yours to keep. ECOSIRE handles BC version-compatibility updates and fixes during the support window, and offers an optional ongoing support retainer for teams that prefer us to manage upgrades long-term.
Will bulk import bypass Business Central's validation and corrupt my data?
No. We import through AL with table-relation and field validation enabled by default, so master-data integrity and posting rules are respected. Where you explicitly need raw speed on clean, pre-validated data, validation can be selectively relaxed per table — but that is a deliberate, documented choice, never the default.
Does it work on Business Central Online (SaaS) and on-premises?
Yes. The tool is delivered as a per-tenant extension that installs on both BC Online (SaaS) and on-premises deployments. The import/export engine, mass-update, bulk-delete, and lot/serial features work the same way on either; only the install and signing steps differ slightly by deployment type.
