Delivery Driver Management & Dispatch turns your own WooCommerce store into a working dispatch desk for the delivery fleet you already run. Instead of texting drivers and guessing where orders are, you assign each WooCommerce order to a named driver from wp-admin, the driver works it from a mobile-friendly view on their phone, and your customer sees live status updates tied to their order.
A dedicated `delivery_driver` WordPress user role with capabilities scoped so drivers see only delivery screens, never wp-admin order editing or reports
Assign Driver meta box on the WooCommerce order screen (HPOS-compatible) writing the driver to order meta and updating the delivery record
Bulk assignment and a dispatch list filtered by status, zone and driver from wp-admin
Mobile-friendly, login-gated driver route listing only that driver's assigned stops in delivery order
Tap-to-navigate links that open Google Maps or Apple Maps with the customer address pre-filled for turn-by-turn directions
Custom delivery order statuses (e.g. assigned, picked-up, out-for-delivery, delivered, failed) registered via WooCommerce status hooks
This is not an instant marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds, installs and supports this plugin directly on your WordPress site, configured to your delivery zones, order statuses and branding. We deliver it as a proper plugin: drivers are stored as a WordPress user role, deliveries use a custom post type / custom table linked to the order, and assignment writes to order meta so it stays consistent under WooCommerce HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage / custom order tables).
Core capabilities we build for you:
delivery_driver user role and an Assign Driver panel on the WooCommerce order screen.Built on the WooCommerce REST API, standard WordPress hooks, actions and filters, and WP-Cron for status reminders. WPML and multisite are supported as a paid scope add-on. You own the code on your server — no per-driver SaaS subscription.
Runs three or four drivers from the counter and currently dispatches by phone and WhatsApp. Wants every WooCommerce order assigned to a named driver, live status on the customer's order, and photo proof when food is dropped at the door, without paying a per-rider SaaS fee every month.
Takes WooCommerce orders for local same-day or next-slot delivery and needs the dispatcher to see pickup and route on one screen, push the route to the driver's phone, and capture a signature for higher-value drops.
Owns the order queue day to day, needs bulk assignment, a filtered dispatch list and WP-Cron reminders for unassigned or stalled orders, and wants drivers locked out of everything except their own stops.
Buy the license on ecosire.com and download the Delivery Driver Management & Dispatch module ZIP from your account dashboard.
Extract the ZIP into your Odoo custom addons folder on the server (or upload via Apps > Install from file on Odoo.sh / runbot).
Activate Developer Mode, open Apps, click Update Apps List, search for Delivery Driver Management & Dispatch, and press Install.
Open the new menu, paste your ECOSIRE license key, connect any external credentials (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, etc.), and save.
Run the built-in connection test, sync your first 10 records, and schedule the recurring cron. Contact support if anything fails.

This is a build-to-order plugin, not a one-click marketplace install. After a short scoping call we confirm your driver count, delivery statuses and branding, then build and install it on your WordPress site. A standard build is typically delivered in about 1 to 2 weeks; WPML, multisite or a custom native driver app add to that. We always deploy to a staging copy first, test on a real phone, then push to production with a rollback point.
Every build includes a defined post-launch support window covering bug fixes and compatibility with WordPress and WooCommerce core updates, including HPOS changes. Because the code lives on your own server, there is no per-driver subscription. After the initial window you can take a simple maintenance retainer or call us per change; either way you keep the source and can have any developer work on it.
Yes. We build against WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (custom order tables) and read/write order data through supported APIs, not direct legacy post-meta assumptions. We use standard WordPress hooks, actions and filters so it coexists with your theme and existing plugins. During scoping we review your active plugins and flag any conflicts before we build.
It is honest about what it does. Customers see live delivery status stages tied to their order, and drivers get tap-to-navigate links into Google or Apple Maps. Continuous real-time GPS dot-on-a-map tracking and a published native iOS/Android app are a larger, separate scope we can quote; the base plugin uses status updates and the WooCommerce REST API rather than constant background location streaming.
Drivers get a dedicated `delivery_driver` WordPress user role with capabilities scoped so they only reach their own assigned-stops view. They cannot open wp-admin order editing, customer lists or reports. The customer tracking page needs no login at all and is reached by a tokenized link in the order email that exposes only that one delivery's status.
