The extension adds a Rentable Item concept on top of your existing item cards using table and page extensions, plus a new availability calendar so counter staff can see what is on hire, reserved, or back in stock at any date. Bookings, check-out and check-in run inside the POS flow your cashiers already use, with deposits, security holds, daily/weekly/seasonal rate plans, and automatic late and damage charges posted back through standard BC sales and finance documents.
Because it is real AL — table extensions, page extensions, event subscribers, and codeunits — it respects your permission sets, posts to the correct G/L accounts, and surfaces rental data through the BC REST/OData API for Power BI or Dataverse / Power Platform reporting. Buy the license on ecosire.com and download the Rental & Equipment Hire POS module ZIP from your account dashboard.
Upload to Odoo
Extract the ZIP into your Odoo custom addons folder on the server (or upload via Apps > Install from file on Odoo.sh / runbot).
Install the module
Activate Developer Mode, open Apps, click Update Apps List, search for Rental & Equipment Hire POS, and press Install.
Configure settings
Open the new menu, paste your ECOSIRE license key, connect any external credentials (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, etc.), and save.
Verify & go live
