Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central has no native, policy-driven leave and absence engine — HR teams end up tracking entitlements in spreadsheets or bending the core absence registration to fit. This is a build-to-order AL extension that ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and supports on your own Business Central environment. It is not an instant AppSource download: we scope your leave policies, develop the extension, deploy it as a per-tenant extension to your sandbox first, then publish to production after your sign-off.

The extension ships as proper AL objects — new tables for leave types, policies, balances and requests, page extensions that surface leave data on the Employee card and Role Center, and event subscribers that hook into Business Central HR and approval events without modifying base application code (keeping you upgrade-safe across Microsoft's monthly cumulative updates).

Out of the box for your build: multi-policy leave types with configurable accrual rules (monthly, anniversary, lump-sum or pro-rata), carry-forward caps and encashment handling, multi-step approval chains with delegation built on Business Central's native approval workflow and Notification entries, holiday calendars scoped per country and branch, and a team leave calendar with conflict alerts for overlapping absences. Self-service runs through the Business Central web client and Role Centers; we can optionally surface requests in Power Apps / Dataverse or expose balances over the OData v4 / REST API for Power BI dashboards.

Dedicated permission sets enforce HR-admin vs employee vs manager access, and accrual postings run on the Job Queue so balances update automatically. You own the source. ECOSIRE handles development, deployment, AppSource-style validation in your tenant, and ongoing support.
