The Mercado Libre Connector is a build-to-order Shopify app that links your Shopify catalog with Mercado Libre across Latin American marketplaces — Mexico (MLM), Argentina (MLA), Brazil (MLB), Chile (MLC) and more. It is not an instant App Store download: ECOSIRE builds, installs and configures it on your store, then supports it.
Under the hood it authenticates to Mercado Libre via OAuth 2.0 and to your store through the Shopify Admin GraphQL API, registering webhooks for products/update, inventory_levels/update and orders/create so changes flow without manual exports. Shopify multi-location inventory is mapped to your Mercado Libre stock so available_quantity stays accurate, and a configurable price sync applies per-site currency, rounding and optional margin rules.
We handle the parts that off-the-shelf apps gloss over: title and attribute (ficha técnica) mapping, category-required attributes per site, variation/variant alignment, and listing creation or matching by SKU or existing MLB item ID. Incoming Mercado Libre orders import as Shopify orders, and fulfillment / tracking writes back to Mercado Libre so the buyer sees shipping status. Conflicts, rate limits and partial failures are logged with retry, and field mappings live in Shopify metafields plus an admin settings panel so you stay in control.
Because every catalog and marketplace mix is different, the build is scoped to your SKUs, sites and theme during a short discovery call. You get a working, installed integration — plus the source and documentation — rather than a black box. No. This is a build-to-order app. After purchase, ECOSIRE scopes your catalog, sites and requirements on a short discovery call, then builds, installs and configures the connector on your store. You receive a working integration plus source code and documentation — not a self-serve App Store listing.
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery is about one working week after the discovery call, depending on how many Mercado Libre sites you sell on, your catalog size and the complexity of category-attribute mapping. We confirm a firm timeline in writing once the scope is agreed, and keep you updated through build and installation.
What ongoing support and updates do I get?
The price includes a post-launch support window for bug fixes and configuration adjustments. Because Mercado Libre and Shopify APIs evolve, we offer optional ongoing maintenance for API changes, new sites, added product categories and feature enhancements — quoted separately based on your needs. You also receive the source code, so you are never locked in.
Which Mercado Libre countries are supported?
The connector is designed for Mercado Libre's Latin American sites including Mexico (MLM), Argentina (MLA), Brazil (MLB) and Chile (MLC). Additional Mercado Libre marketplaces can be included in scope. Each site is configured with its own currency, category structure and required attributes during the build.
Will it overwrite my existing Mercado Libre listings or Shopify data?
No. We match existing listings by SKU or Mercado Libre item ID before creating anything new, and sync direction is configured deliberately for each field. Pricing, inventory and category mappings are reviewed with you before go-live, and a sync activity log records every change so nothing happens silently.
