Done-For-You Ecommerce Bookkeeping is a build-to-order Shopify app — not an instant App Store install. After purchase, ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and configures it against your specific store, chart of accounts and tax setup, then supports it on an ongoing basis.
Growing DTC brands outgrow generic accounting connectors fast. Gateway fees, partial refunds, multi-location inventory, and COGS timing get flattened into a single deposit line, so your books never tie out and year-end becomes a reconstruction project. This app closes that gap.
It connects to your store through Shopify OAuth and the Admin GraphQL API, then subscribes to webhooks (orders/create, orders/paid, refunds/create, fulfillments/create, inventory_levels/update) for real-time bookkeeping. Every order, fee, refund and payout is journaled with the correct accrual treatment. Inventory and COGS are tracked across multi-location inventory using landed-cost data we map into metafields, so margin is recognized when goods ship — not when cash lands.
Reconciliation is the core: we match Shopify Payments and third-party gateway records, bank feeds, and payout batches line by line, surfacing only true exceptions. Sales tax liability is tracked by jurisdiction from order-level tax data. You get clean P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements and year-end / tax-filing exports your accountant can use directly.

No. This is a build-to-order solution. ECOSIRE custom-builds the app against your specific store, chart of accounts and tax setup, then installs it for you via Shopify OAuth. It is not a self-serve App Store listing, and we never claim an instant download.
How long does delivery take after I purchase?
Typical delivery is one working week. The exact lead time depends on store complexity, number of sales channels and gateways, multi-location inventory, and how much transaction history needs to be backfilled. We confirm a schedule during onboarding right after purchase.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
ECOSIRE supports the app after handover. That includes maintaining compatibility with new Shopify Admin GraphQL API versions, adding handling for new payment methods or edge cases, fixing issues, and adjusting mappings as your business changes. Support terms are confirmed at handover.
How does COGS and inventory accounting actually work?
We map landed cost to your products using Shopify metafields and track quantities across multi-location inventory. Cost of goods is recognized on an accrual basis at fulfillment, so your margin reflects when goods ship rather than when cash arrives, keeping the P&L accurate period over period.
Will my payouts and refunds reconcile correctly?
Yes. The reconciliation engine decomposes each Shopify Payments or gateway payout into gross sales, fees, refunds, chargebacks and adjustments, then matches them against bank feeds line by line. You review only true exceptions instead of a single lumped deposit line.
Does it handle sales tax for filing?
It tracks sales tax liability by jurisdiction from order-level tax data and produces filing-period exports. It is a bookkeeping and reporting tool that prepares your numbers for filing; ECOSIRE does not act as your tax filer, and you or your accountant complete the actual returns.
