The Coupang Marketplace Connector bridges your Shopify store and Coupang, South Korea's largest e-commerce marketplace, so you can sell into Korea without manually re-keying catalog, stock or orders.
Creates and updates Coupang listings directly from your Shopify products, variants and images via the Coupang OPEN API
Near-real-time inventory sync driven by Shopify inventory_levels/update webhooks, respecting your chosen multi-location warehouses
Price sync with a configurable source-of-truth direction (Shopify-led, Coupang-led, or per-field) including KRW currency handling
Order ingestion: Coupang orders are pulled in and created as Shopify orders so fulfillment runs in one place
Fulfillment and tracking sync back to Coupang when you fulfill in Shopify, updating shipment status
Category code and attribute/notice-field mapping using Shopify product metafields, including required Korean-language notice values
This is a build-to-order app, not an instant App Store install. After purchase, ECOSIRE configures the connector against your Coupang Wing OPEN API credentials and your Shopify store, maps your data model, and installs it on your shop. You receive a working, tested integration — not a generic plugin you have to wire up alone.
Under the hood it uses the Shopify Admin GraphQL API plus webhooks (products/update, inventory_levels/update, orders/create) to detect changes in near real time, and writes them to Coupang through the Coupang OPEN API. Product metafields drive Coupang-specific fields — category code, notice/attribute values, and Rocket-eligibility flags — that have no native Shopify equivalent. Multi-location inventory is respected, so the warehouse quantities you choose are the ones pushed to Coupang.
Typical scope includes: creating and updating Coupang listings from Shopify products; inventory and price sync with a configurable source-of-truth direction; order and fulfillment sync (Coupang orders pulled into Shopify, tracking pushed back); category and attribute mapping; Rocket-eligible field handling; and a reconciliation report that flags SKUs out of sync, rejected listings and failed syncs.
Because Coupang enforces Korean-language notice fields, strict category attributes and its own approval workflow, a custom build lets us map your catalog structure to those rules rather than forcing your data into a one-size-fits-all template. ECOSIRE handles the build, the install, and ongoing support and updates as Coupang's API evolves.
A Shopify brand entering South Korea that needs its existing catalog live on Coupang without re-keying products, prices and stock by hand across two systems.
The person responsible for keeping stock accurate and orders shipped on time. They need Coupang orders flowing into Shopify and tracking pushed back automatically, with a reconciliation report to catch drift.
An agency or distributor managing Shopify stores selling into Korea who needs Coupang category, notice-field and Rocket-eligibility rules mapped correctly to avoid listing rejections and approval delays.

This is a build-to-order app, so it is configured and installed for you rather than downloaded instantly. Typical delivery is about 10 to 15 business days from when we receive your Shopify access and active Coupang Wing OPEN API credentials. Larger catalogs or complex category mappings can extend that, and we confirm a firm timeline with you before work starts.
We need collaborator/admin access to your Shopify store and your Coupang Wing OPEN API credentials (vendor ID plus access and secret keys), which require an approved Coupang seller account. We also need a sample of how your catalog maps to Coupang categories so we can build the attribute and notice-field mapping correctly.
Yes. Coupang enforces strict per-category attributes and Korean-language notice (상품 정보 고시) fields. We map these from your Shopify product metafields during the build so listings pass Coupang's approval workflow. If certain values do not exist in your data yet, we define metafields for them so your team can maintain them going forward.
It handles the Rocket-related fields exposed by the Coupang OPEN API — lead-time, fulfillment type and eligibility flags — and populates them per listing based on your mapping. Whether a given product qualifies for a Rocket program is determined by Coupang, not the app; the connector ensures the fields are submitted correctly so eligible products are not blocked by data errors.
Every build includes a post-launch support window covering bug fixes and updates to keep the connector compatible as Coupang's OPEN API changes. After that window, ongoing support and enhancements are available under a maintenance arrangement. Because ECOSIRE builds and hosts the integration logic, fixes and API updates come from us directly — you are not left maintaining undocumented code.
Inventory and order changes are near real-time via Shopify webhooks, with a scheduled reconciliation pass as a safety net. You choose the source-of-truth direction during setup — typically Shopify-led for stock and price — so conflicts resolve predictably. The reconciliation report surfaces any SKU where Shopify and Coupang have drifted apart, with the reason and last sync time.
