FedEx Shipping for Magento 2 is a custom carrier module that ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and supports directly on your Magento store. This is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download — we develop it to fit your FedEx account, service map and store theme, deploy it under app/code/Ecosire/FedExShipping, and stand behind it.

The extension registers a Magento carrier through etc/config.xml and Model/Carrier/FedEx implementing CarrierInterface/AbstractCarrierOnline, so it slots into the native shipping-rate collection event (collectRates) and appears at checkout alongside your other methods. It calls the FedEx Web Services / RESTful Rate API server-side, returns a Magento\Shipping\Model\Rate\Result of available services, and caches responses to keep checkout fast.

Core capabilities: live FedEx rate calculation at quote and checkout for domestic and international carts; multi-currency international rate display that respects your store-view currency and Magento's price scope; shipping label and packing-slip generation wired into the admin order/shipment grid via the shipmentTrack resource; and shipment tracking surfaced in the customer account and order emails through getTrackingInfo().

Configuration lives under Stores → Configuration → Sales → Shipping Methods → FedEx, gated by admin ACL so only authorized roles edit credentials. Domestic and international service mapping (Ground, Home Delivery, Express, International Priority/Economy) is admin-editable. We wire dependencies through di.xml, extend behavior with plugins/interceptors and observers rather than core edits, and expose rate/tracking data over REST and GraphQL when your headless or PWA front end needs it. Works on Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce, current 2.4.x. ECOSIRE delivers a clean, upgrade-safe module — not a patch to core.
