Fruugo Integration for Magento 2 is a build-to-order extension that turns your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce store into a hub for selling into 40+ countries through the Fruugo cross-border marketplace — without exporting spreadsheets or pasting orders by hand.
This is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download. ECOSIRE builds, installs and configures the module directly on your Magento install (or staging first, your choice), wires it to your Fruugo merchant account via Fruugo's API, and supports it after go-live. You get a real app/code/Ecosire/FruugoIntegration module — PSR-4, di.xml, module.xml, declarative schema — not a black box.
What it does on your store: a bulk product publisher maps your Magento catalog to Fruugo's required fields (title, description, GTIN/EAN, brand, images, category). Cron-driven inventory sync keeps Fruugo stock in step with Magento's MSI source quantities, so you don't oversell. A scheduled order importer pulls Fruugo orders, creates native Magento orders against a dedicated store view, and feeds your normal invoice/shipment/fulfillment flow. Multi-currency and multi-country handling lets Fruugo present localized prices while Magento stays your single source of truth.
Architecturally it uses Magento the right way: service contracts and repositories for catalog/stock/order access, plugins (interceptors) and observers on events like sales_order_save_after for status sync, an admin system.xml config section under ACL, and a GraphQL/REST-friendly service layer. Every API call to Fruugo is logged and retried.
You own the code after delivery. ECOSIRE handles the build, the category-mapping nuance, and the version-to-version upgrades — so your team can focus on selling internationally instead of maintaining a connector.

How long until the Fruugo integration is delivered and live on my store?
Because this is built-to-order, it is not an instant download. Typical delivery is about one working week from kickoff, depending on catalog size, the complexity of your category/attribute mapping, and how many Fruugo markets you target. We install on staging first, run a smoke-test publish of sample SKUs, then deploy to production with you. We confirm a concrete timeline before you pay.
Do I get the source code, or is it locked?
You receive the full, readable module under app/code/Ecosire/FruugoIntegration — no encryption, no obfuscation, no IonCube. It is standard Magento 2 code using di.xml, service contracts, plugins and observers, so your own developers can read, extend or audit it. You own it after delivery.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
Delivery includes a warranty period for bug fixes at no charge. After that, we offer optional support plans covering Magento and Adobe Commerce version upgrades, Fruugo API changes, mapping adjustments for new product lines, and priority response. Because Fruugo occasionally changes required fields or endpoints, an ongoing plan is recommended for stores that depend on the channel.

Yes. The module is built against Magento 2 service contracts and core APIs, so it runs on Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce (including multi-website, multi-store-view and B2B setups). We confirm your exact Magento version and PHP version at kickoff and target that release.
How does it prevent overselling between Magento and Fruugo?
Inventory is synchronized from Magento's MSI source quantities on a cron schedule, with optional safety-stock buffers per channel. When stock drops in Magento — including from Fruugo orders imported back as native Magento orders — the next sync pushes the updated quantity to Fruugo, so the same unit is not sold twice across channels.
Can I control which products get published to Fruugo?
Yes. Publishing is rule-based: you can scope by website, store view, attribute set, or a dedicated 'publish to Fruugo' flag, and apply price markup/markdown rules per channel. Only the SKUs you intend to sell internationally go live, and you can change the rules later in the admin.
