Does the technician app really work with no internet?
Yes. The mobile layer is offline-first — the technician's assigned jobs, service items and price/parts data are cached on the device. Do we need Power Platform licenses?
Only if you choose the Power Apps canvas app option for the mobile layer, which runs on Dataverse and reuses your existing Power Apps / Power Automate licensing. If you prefer to stay entirely inside Business Central, we deliver a hardened Business Central mobile profile instead. We help you pick the right option based on your existing Microsoft licensing during discovery.
