この製品について
The ShipStation Connector for Business Central is a per-tenant AL extension that ECOSIRE builds, installs and supports directly on your Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. It is not an instant AppSource download — you buy the build, we deliver and deploy it to your tenant (cloud/SaaS or on-prem), then stand behind it.
The connector closes the loop between BC and ShipStation. When a sales order is released (or a configurable trigger fires), an AL event subscriber pushes the order to ShipStation through the ShipStation REST API as a new order/shipment, mapping your BC items to ShipStation SKUs, ship-to address, ship-from warehouse and requested carrier/service. Once your team ships in ShipStation, a scheduled job queue entry polls (or receives a webhook) and writes the tracking number, carrier, and ship status back onto the BC sales order, posts or stages the warehouse shipment, and updates order status — no re-keying.
Under the hood it ships as a clean AL app: table extensions and a setup page for credentials and mapping, page extensions on the Sales Order to surface tracking, event subscribers on document release/posting, and dedicated permission sets so you control who configures it. SKU and warehouse mapping tables let you route multi-store and multi-warehouse flows to the right ShipStation store. Where it helps, we can surface sync status into Dataverse / Power Platform for reporting.
Everything is logged for traceability, retried on transient API failures, and configurable per store. Because we build it to order, the field mappings, trigger points and status logic match your order workflow rather than a generic template — and because ECOSIRE installs and maintains it, you get a connector that survives BC version upgrades.

How long until the connector is live on my Business Central environment?
This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant AppSource install. After purchase we confirm your BC version, store/warehouse layout and field-mapping needs, then build, test and deploy the per-tenant AL extension to your environment. Typical delivery is about one working week depending on how many stores, warehouses and custom status rules are involved. We give you a firm timeline once the scope call is done.
Do you provide ongoing support and updates after delivery?
Yes. Delivery includes a support window covering bug fixes and Business Central compatibility — when Microsoft ships a BC update or you upgrade your environment, we keep the extension working. ShipStation API changes are handled within support. Larger enhancements (new mappings, extra stores, new triggers) are scoped as small follow-on work. We can also arrange an ongoing maintenance retainer if you want continuous coverage.
Is this installed from Microsoft AppSource?
No. ECOSIRE builds and installs it directly on your tenant as a per-tenant extension. There is no public AppSource listing to download — that is deliberate, because we tailor the field mappings, trigger points and status logic to your order workflow rather than shipping a generic one-size template.
Does it modify base Business Central objects or my existing customizations?
No. It is delivered as a separate AL app using table extensions, page extensions and event subscribers, so it sits alongside base BC and your other extensions without altering core objects. This is what keeps it upgrade-safe and easy to remove or version cleanly.
Can it handle multiple ShipStation stores and several warehouses?
Yes. Mapping tables route each BC location and store to the correct ShipStation store and ship-from address. Multi-store and multi-warehouse routing is a core feature — we configure the mappings to match your setup during delivery.
How does tracking get back into Business Central — polling or real time?
Both are supported. A scheduled job queue entry polls ShipStation for fulfillment updates, and where your plan allows we can also wire a ShipStation webhook for near-real-time tracking writeback. Tracking numbers, carrier and ship status land on the sales order, and we can optionally stage or post the warehouse shipment to keep inventory accurate.
