This is not an instant AppSource download. The Power BI Embedded Analytics & Agentic Insights Pack is a Business Central extension that ECOSIRE designs, builds and deploys to your specific environment as a per-tenant extension, then supports.

We embed a curated Power BI report set — finance (P&L, cash, AR/AP aging), sales (pipeline, margin, top customers), inventory (turns, stockouts, valuation) and project (WIP, billable utilization) — directly inside your BC role centers using the platform's Power BI report part. The connection runs on your tenant's data via the standard Business Central OData v4 / API endpoints and a Power BI dataset published to your Power BI workspace, so there is no third-party data copy.

On top of the visuals we add an agentic insights layer: a job queue entry runs an AL codeunit on a schedule, compares incoming figures against rolling baselines, and writes anomaly flags (unexpected margin drops, AR spikes, negative-margin sales lines, inventory write-down risk) into a BC table surfaced as role-center cues and a notification. Each flag is explainable and drills through to the source document.

Drill-through is wired both ways: a Power BI visual drills back to the exact BC card or list page, and BC cues open the filtered report. We ship a dedicated permission set so finance, sales and warehouse roles see only their reports.

Because it is built to order, the dashboards, KPIs, anomaly rules and refresh cadence are shaped around your chart of accounts, dimensions and actual workflow during a short discovery. ECOSIRE installs it on your sandbox first, validates against production data, then promotes it — and stays on for support and BC release-wave compatibility.

Is this an instant AppSource download I can just install?

No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE designs the dashboards, anomaly rules and KPIs around your chart of accounts and dimensions, builds the AL per-tenant extension and Power BI report set, then installs and validates it on your environment. There is no self-service AppSource link for this pack.

How long does delivery take?

Typical lead time is two to four weeks from the discovery call, depending on how many dashboards and anomaly rules you want and how clean your dimensions and analysis views are. We start with a short discovery, build and install on your sandbox, reconcile the numbers against production, then promote to production with you. We confirm a firm date after discovery.

What ongoing support and updates are included?

After go-live we support the extension on your tenant — fixing issues, tuning anomaly thresholds, and keeping it compatible across Business Central release waves (the twice-yearly major updates) and Power BI changes. Support terms are agreed at handover; we do not abandon a per-tenant extension after install.

Does my data leave Business Central or get copied to a third party?

No. The Power BI reports connect to your own tenant through the standard Business Central OData v4 / API endpoints and a dataset published to your own Power BI workspace. The data stays within your Microsoft tenant — ECOSIRE does not host or copy your data to any external warehouse.

Do we need Power BI licenses, and what about the AI part?

Yes — embedding Power BI content in role centers requires Power BI licensing in your tenant (Pro or Premium/Fabric capacity depending on sharing and refresh needs); we confirm the right tier during discovery. The agentic anomaly layer runs inside Business Central as a scheduled AL codeunit against rolling baselines, so the core flagging needs no extra AI service; if you want LLM-style narrative summaries we can integrate that as an option.

Will this survive Business Central upgrades?

It is built as a clean AL extension using page and table extensions and event subscribers — no base-application code is modified — so it follows the same upgrade-safe model as AppSource apps. As part of support we test and recompile it against each major release wave before your tenant updates.
