At its core the app evaluates every return request against rules you define. Low-value or high-restocking-cost SKUs can trigger a keep-the-item ("green return") decision — the customer is refunded or credited without shipping anything back, cutting freight, handling, and disposal cost. For everything else, the app calculates the lowest-cost return path: which of your multi-location inventory warehouses is nearest, has capacity, or already needs that stock.
The app uses the Admin GraphQL API to read orders, fulfillment locations, and inventory levels, listens to orders/fulfilled, refunds/create, and returns webhooks, and stores per-SKU return policy and warehouse routing data in metafields. A merchant-authenticated OAuth install scopes access to exactly the order, return, and inventory permissions needed — nothing more.
Customers get an instant exchange flow: a replacement ships before the original arrives back, reducing churn on size/fit returns. Store-credit incentives nudge refunds toward credit. Upload to Odoo
Extract the ZIP into your Odoo custom addons folder on the server (or upload via Apps > Install from file on Odoo.sh / runbot).
Install the module
Activate Developer Mode, open Apps, click Update Apps List, search for Returns Routing & Green Returns, and press Install.
