License Key Manager productizes the licensing engine ECOSIRE uses in production: generate signed license keys on sale, validate and activate them through rate-limited APIs, and manage renewals, suspensions, and transfers. For software vendors, module developers, and digital-product sellers running their business on Odoo who need real license enforcement, not honor-system downloads. Planned features include key generation with configurable formats and HMAC signing, validation and activation REST endpoints with rate limiting, device/instance fingerprinting, expiry and grace-period policies, automatic grant on paid order and revoke on refund, customer portal self-service for key retrieval, audit logging of every license event, and usage analytics per product. This app is currently in development on the ECOSIRE build pipeline. It will ship for Odoo 17, 18, and 19 simultaneously — the same triple-version coverage as every live ECOSIRE app. One-time license, free updates within your major version. Download from ECOSIRE
Buy the license on ecosire.com and download the License Key Manager module ZIP from your account dashboard.
Upload to Odoo
Extract the ZIP into your Odoo custom addons folder on the server (or upload via Apps > Install from file on Odoo.sh / runbot).
Install the module
Activate Developer Mode, open Apps, click Update Apps List, search for License Key Manager, and press Install.
Configure settings
Open the new menu, paste your ECOSIRE license key, connect any external credentials (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, etc.), and save.
Verify & go live
Run the built-in connection test, sync your first 10 records, and schedule the recurring cron. Contact support if anything fails.
