Apple Pay & Google Pay Express Buttons puts accelerated wallet checkout in front of your shoppers at the exact moments they decide to buy — the product page, the cart drawer, and the checkout itself. For mobile-heavy stores, the gap between "add to cart" and "place order" is where the most revenue leaks. Express wallets close that gap to a single biometric tap.

This is not an instant App Store download. ECOSIRE builds, installs and supports this app for your specific theme and storefront. We embed the buttons via a Theme App Extension (app blocks and app embeds) so they live natively in your Online Store 2.0 sections without hard-coding into theme.liquid. The buttons themselves are powered by Shopify's own Storefront Payment / Buy with Prime-style accelerated checkout primitives and Shop Pay — we wire placement, device detection and analytics around them.

How long until the app is live on my store, and is this an App Store download?

This is build-to-order, not an instant App Store install. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds and configures the app for your specific theme. Typical delivery is 3–5 business days, including a staging preview on a duplicated theme so you sign off before anything touches your live storefront.

Who handles updates, Shopify API changes and support after launch?

ECOSIRE does. We maintain the app against Shopify Admin API version bumps, theme changes and wallet platform updates, and provide ongoing support. You are not left to patch a one-off install — the app stays current as part of the engagement.

Do I need Shopify Payments or any specific gateway enabled?

Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay rely on Shopify's accelerated checkout, which requires Shopify Payments (or a compatible configuration) to be active in Settings → Payments. We verify your wallet eligibility during setup and configure placement around your existing payment settings rather than replacing them.

Will the buttons show on devices that can't use the wallet?

No. The app performs real device and wallet-capability detection, so Apple Pay only renders on capable Safari/iOS devices, Google Pay on supported Android/Chrome devices, and Shop Pay where applicable. Shoppers never see a dead or non-functional button.

Will this modify my theme code or break the theme editor?

We deliver the buttons as a Theme App Extension using Online Store 2.0 app blocks and embeds. They install as native sections you (or we) can position in the theme editor, with no hard-coded edits to theme.liquid, so your theme stays upgrade-safe.
