Bulk Data Import / Export / Migrate is a Shopify app ECOSIRE builds to order for catalog managers and agencies who live in spreadsheets. It is not an instant App Store install — after purchase, our team scopes your data model, builds the app against your store, and installs it as a custom Shopify app with the exact OAuth scopes your job needs.

Under the hood it talks to the Admin GraphQL API using Shopify's bulkOperationRunQuery and bulkOperationRunMutation primitives, so exports and imports run as asynchronous jobs that survive rate limits and GBs of data instead of timing out mid-run. You map Excel/CSV columns to Shopify fields once; the app validates rows, reports per-row errors, and lets you re-run only the failed records.

It covers products and variants, collections, customers, orders, draft orders, discounts, inventory across multiple locations, metafields and metaobjects — including reference and list types that generic importers skip. Scheduled recurring jobs (cron-style) handle nightly price feeds, supplier stock syncs and routine exports without anyone touching a button.

For store-to-store migration, the app reads from a source store and writes to a destination over the API, preserving handles, metafield definitions and inventory — far cleaner than round-tripping CSVs by hand.
