Bulk Data Import / Export / Migrate is a Shopify app ECOSIRE builds to order for catalog managers and agencies who live in spreadsheets. It is not an instant App Store install — after purchase, our team scopes your data model, builds the app against your store, and installs it as a custom Shopify app with the exact OAuth scopes your job needs.
Bulk import, export and in-place update of products, variants, collections, customers, orders, draft orders and discounts via Excel/CSV
Full metafields and metaobjects support, including reference, list and JSON types that generic CSV importers drop
Asynchronous jobs built on Shopify's Admin GraphQL bulkOperationRunQuery / bulkOperationRunMutation — no timeouts on large catalogs
Large-file handling into the multi-GB range with chunked staged uploads and resumable processing
Per-row validation with a downloadable error report and re-run-failed-rows-only workflow
Scheduled recurring jobs (cron-style) for nightly price feeds, stock syncs and routine exports
Under the hood it talks to the Admin GraphQL API using Shopify's bulkOperationRunQuery and bulkOperationRunMutation primitives, so exports and imports run as asynchronous jobs that survive rate limits and GBs of data instead of timing out mid-run. You map Excel/CSV columns to Shopify fields once; the app validates rows, reports per-row errors, and lets you re-run only the failed records.
It covers products and variants, collections, customers, orders, draft orders, discounts, inventory across multiple locations, metafields and metaobjects — including reference and list types that generic importers skip. Scheduled recurring jobs (cron-style) handle nightly price feeds, supplier stock syncs and routine exports without anyone touching a button.
For store-to-store migration, the app reads from a source store and writes to a destination over the API, preserving handles, metafield definitions and inventory — far cleaner than round-tripping CSVs by hand.
Because it is your app, you own the data flow, the field mapping and the schedule. ECOSIRE handles the build, the install and ongoing support. Pricing is a one-time build fee of $99; there is no per-row or per-product surcharge. Honest expectation: this is a build-to-order engagement with a delivery lead time, not a one-click download — and that is exactly why it fits your data instead of forcing your data to fit it.
Maintains thousands of products, variants and metafields and needs reliable bulk updates — pricing, tags, specs — without CSV timeouts or silently dropped metafield columns.
Moves stores onto Shopify or between stores and needs a repeatable, API-driven migration that preserves handles, metafields and multi-location inventory across many projects.
Wants nightly supplier stock syncs, price feeds and scheduled exports running on a cron without staff manually uploading spreadsheets every day.

No. This is build-to-order. After purchase, ECOSIRE scopes your data model, builds the app against your store and installs it as a custom Shopify app via OAuth. You get an app tailored to your exact fields and workflows rather than a generic listing.
It is a build-to-order engagement with a delivery lead time, typically a few business days depending on how many data types and custom metafields/metaobjects are in scope. We confirm a concrete timeline after a short scoping conversation, and we handle the OAuth install for you.
Every build includes a post-delivery support window for fixes and mapping adjustments. Because Shopify versions its Admin GraphQL API quarterly, we keep your app on a supported version; longer-term maintenance can be arranged so jobs keep running as the API evolves.
Yes. It uses Shopify's asynchronous bulk operations (bulkOperationRunQuery / bulkOperationRunMutation) with chunked staged uploads, so jobs run in the background and respect API rate limits instead of timing out. Failed rows are reported and can be re-run on their own.
Yes. Unlike many CSV importers, it handles metafields and metaobjects — including reference and list types — and during store-to-store migration it preserves handles and metafield definitions so structured data lands intact on the destination store.
