Operations intake leads need to capture validated inbound records without losing ownership when records cross system boundaries. This concept starts with the business decision and evidence required at each stage, then maps that intent to supported Microsoft Power Platform surfaces.

Workflow and object design

Receive a case applications signal, validate its source and required fields, resolve Dataverse table, model-driven app and business rule, apply the intake & capture decision rules, write the approved state, then record a correlated audit result. The source event is apps.capture.requested; the resulting audit event is apps.capture.recorded. The mapped business surface is Dataverse table, model-driven app and business rule.

Technical approach

The scoped design may use Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, standard or custom connectors, managed solutions, DLP policies, environment variables, ALM pipelines. Authentication is based on Microsoft Entra application or connection references using least-privilege identities.
