The extension talks to the Walmart Marketplace REST API (Items, Inventory, Prices, Orders and Fulfillment endpoints) using OAuth-style WM_SEC.ACCESS_TOKEN auth with token refresh, signed correlation headers and rate-limit-aware retry. All outbound calls run through a dedicated Guzzle-based client wired via di.xml against a service-contract interface, so logic stays testable and swappable.
Catalog is mapped to Walmart's category spec via an admin grid: Magento attributes are bound to Walmart required/recommended fields, with a feed builder that produces compliant item payloads and tracks per-SKU acceptance/error state. Inventory and price sync run on cron (configurable, queue-backed via Magento_AsynchronousOperations for bulk) and react in near-real-time to stock and price changes through observers on sales_order_place_after, cataloginventory_stock_item_save_after and catalog price events. Order import pulls Walmart orders, creates native Magento orders, and pushes acknowledgements, shipments and tracking back (including WFS fulfillment routing so Walmart-fulfilled orders are flagged and not double-shipped). Repricing and promo rules are evaluated server-side before each price push.
Everything respects admin ACL (Ecosire_WalmartMarketplace::config), logs to a dedicated channel, and works on both Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. You get the source — no encrypted blobs, no license phone-home.
