If your turnover crosses the GST e-invoicing threshold, every B2B invoice must carry a valid IRN (Invoice Reference Number) and a signed QR code from the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP) before goods move — and a separate e-way bill for consignments above the value limit. Shopify has no native concept of an IRN, an e-way bill, or the GST portal, so most Indian merchants paste order data into the NIC portal by hand and reconcile by spreadsheet.

This is a build-to-order Shopify app: ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs, and supports it for your specific store. It is not a one-click App Store download. After purchase we scope your GSTIN setup, place of supply rules, HSN/SAC mapping, and IRP/e-way-bill API access (via your GSP or direct NIC credentials), then deliver a working integration embedded in your Shopify Admin.

What it does once live: when an order is paid (or marked fulfilled), the app reads it through the Admin GraphQL API, builds a schema-compliant e-invoice payload, calls the IRP to register the invoice and return the IRN + signed QR, and writes the IRN, acknowledgement number, and QR back onto the order as metafields so they appear on your invoice template and stay queryable. From the same order you generate an e-way bill in one click — Part A and Part B, transporter ID, and vehicle number — and cancel or amend within the statutory window when an order changes.

Threshold-based automation means low-value B2C orders are skipped and only the invoices that legally require an IRN are processed. The app runs on Shopify OAuth with webhooks for order events, respects your multi-location dispatch points for place-of-supply, and logs every IRP/e-way-bill response for audit. You own the code and the GST portal relationship; we make Shopify talk to it cleanly.
