WooCommerce WMS brings real warehouse discipline into the store you already run — no separate platform, no nightly sync job, no second source of truth. ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and supports this plugin on your WordPress site so your warehouse runs off the same order data your customers checkout against.
The plugin maps your physical space into bin / aisle / shelf locations stored as custom taxonomy and post meta, then assigns stock to those bins. When orders drop in, a WP-Cron batch job groups them into pick waves and generates an optimized pick path that walks the shortest route through your racking instead of zig-zagging the floor.
On the warehouse floor, pickers work a mobile-friendly wp-admin screen (or a scoped REST endpoint for handheld scanners). Every pick, pack and ship step is barcode-verified — scan the bin, scan the SKU, scan the shipping label — so the wrong unit physically cannot be confirmed. Receiving and putaway workflows let you check in POs, print/assign bin labels and update stock in one pass.
Because it is native WooCommerce, it reads and writes through the WooCommerce REST API, fires standard WordPress actions/filters (woocommerce_order_status_changed, woocommerce_reduce_order_stock), and is fully HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) compatible. How long until it's live on my store, and is this an instant download?
This is build-to-order, not an instant marketplace download — there is no WordPress.org or WooCommerce.com link to click. After a short scoping call (your bin scheme, racking layout, label and scanner hardware), ECOSIRE builds the plugin, installs it on your staging site, validates it, then promotes to production. A typical engagement runs about 2–4 weeks depending on warehouse complexity and how clean your existing location data is. You get a firm timeline confirmed in writing before work starts.
What ongoing support and updates are included after launch?
Every build includes a post-launch support window covering bug fixes and compatibility maintenance as WooCommerce and WordPress core release new versions (including HPOS changes). Because the plugin is installed on your own site and the source is delivered to you, you are never locked out — ECOSIRE can continue under a support retainer, or your own developers can maintain it using the documented hooks, filters and REST endpoints. Feature additions beyond the original scope are quoted separately.
Will this work with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) and my current WooCommerce setup?
Yes. The plugin is built HPOS-compatible and reads/writes orders through WooCommerce's order CRUD and REST API rather than assuming legacy postmeta. Do I need special barcode scanners or hardware?
No proprietary hardware is required. The barcode pick/pack/ship screens work with standard USB or Bluetooth 1D/2D scanners that act as keyboard input, and the scoped WooCommerce REST endpoints support handheld Android PDA scan guns. ECOSIRE configures the label format (1D or 2D) to match your existing label stock and printers during the build.
Can it handle multiple bins per SKU, receiving, and cycle counts?
Yes. Stock can live in multiple bins for the same SKU, and the plugin tracks quantity per location. Receiving and putaway workflows let you check in purchase orders and assign bins in one pass, and dedicated cycle-count and stock-adjustment screens keep an audit trail of every move — who moved what, when, and from which bin — so your WooCommerce stock figures stay trustworthy.
