Paystack for WooCommerce (Pro) is a payment gateway plugin that ECOSIRE custom-builds, installs and supports directly on your WordPress site — it is not an instant download from WooCommerce.com or the WordPress.org repository. After purchase, our engineers register the gateway through WooCommerce's WC_Payment_Gateway class, wire it into your existing checkout, and configure it against your live Paystack secret and public keys.

The plugin unlocks the local African payment channels that global processors like Stripe and PayPal simply do not offer: card payments, direct bank transfer, USSD, mobile money and Paystack's hosted checkout — across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa, each settling in its local currency (NGN, GHS, KES, ZAR). Channels are toggled per store from a dedicated wp-admin → WooCommerce → Settings → Payments panel.

Under the hood it uses Paystack's /transaction/initialize and /transaction/verify endpoints, and a hardened webhook listener registered via the WooCommerce REST API namespace so order status stays in sync even when a buyer closes the tab mid-payment. We verify the x-paystack-signature HMAC on every callback before touching an order. The build is HPOS-aware (WooCommerce custom order tables) and stores transaction references in order meta, not the deprecated posts table.

Pro capabilities include recurring/subscription tokens (compatible with WooCommerce Subscriptions renewal hooks), split payments and subaccounts for marketplaces and commission models, and full refunds issued straight from the WooCommerce order screen. Is this an instant download I install myself?

No. This is a build-to-order plugin. After purchase, ECOSIRE custom-builds the gateway for your specific WooCommerce version, theme and Paystack account, then installs and configures it on your site for you. There is no WooCommerce.com or WordPress.org download link — we deliver and deploy it directly.

How long until it's live on my store?

Typical delivery is 5 to 10 business days from the point we receive your Paystack API keys and access to a staging environment. We build and test on staging first, then deploy to production and verify with a real low-value transaction before handover. Complex requirements like split payments across many subaccounts can extend the timeline, and we confirm the schedule with you before starting.

What ongoing support and updates are included?

Every build includes 30 days of post-launch support covering configuration issues, webhook problems and any Paystack API changes during that window. After that, optional maintenance plans keep the plugin compatible with new WooCommerce and WordPress releases, HPOS changes and Paystack API updates. Because the plugin is custom, updates are applied by us rather than auto-pushed from a marketplace.

Which Paystack channels and countries are supported?

Will it work with my existing subscriptions and HPOS setup?

Yes. The Pro build integrates with WooCommerce Subscriptions renewal hooks for recurring billing using Paystack tokens, and it is written against the WooCommerce CRUD layer so it works with HPOS (custom order tables) as well as the legacy posts storage. We confirm your specific subscription and order-storage setup during the build.
