The Checkout.com Gateway for WooCommerce connects your WordPress store to Checkout.com's Unified Payments API, giving scaling and enterprise merchants a single global processor with deep control over acceptance, risk and settlement. This is a build-to-order plugin: ECOSIRE builds it against your Checkout.com account configuration, installs it on your WordPress site, and supports it afterward — there is no instant marketplace download.
The gateway registers as a WooCommerce payment method (extending WC_Payment_Gateway) and renders Checkout.com Frames — the PCI-friendly hosted card fields — directly in the WooCommerce checkout, so raw PAN data never touches your server and your PCI-DSS SAQ-A scope stays minimal. Customers can pay by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus regional alternative payment methods including MENA APMs (mada, KNET, Fawry) and BNPL (Tabby, Tamara) where your Checkout.com account is enabled for them.
Server-to-server events are handled through a dedicated WooCommerce REST API webhook endpoint that verifies Checkout.com's signature before updating order state — authorizations, captures, refunds, disputes and APM confirmations all reconcile back to the correct WooCommerce order. We wire full and partial captures/refunds from the WooCommerce order screen, support delayed capture for fraud review, and surface 3D Secure 2 and Checkout.com's risk rules / velocity controls so you decide what gets challenged.
The build is HPOS-compatible (WooCommerce custom order tables), works with WPML and multisite, and supports multi-currency settlement so you can present and settle in multiple currencies. Every install is hardened, version-pinned to your WooCommerce/WordPress stack, and documented. We deliver, you go live, we stay on call.
Sells into the Gulf and beyond and needs mada, KNET and Fawry alongside global cards plus BNPL like Tabby and Tamara, settling in multiple currencies through one Checkout.com account.
Wants a single global gateway with granular risk rules, delayed capture and webhook-driven reconciliation rather than juggling several regional plugins, and needs HPOS-scale order throughput.
Manages a WooCommerce build on WPML/multisite and needs a properly engineered, supported Checkout.com integration — not a generic plugin they have to debug — with a clear handover and someone to call.

Typical delivery is about 1 to 2 weeks from kickoff, depending on which payment methods you need and how quickly Checkout.com enables them on your account. We build against your WooCommerce/WordPress versions, install on staging, run sandbox and controlled live tests, then go to production. Apple Pay domain verification and MENA APM/BNPL enablement can add lead time if Checkout.com hasn't activated them yet — we flag that on our first call.
Every build includes a defined post-launch support window during which we fix defects and ship compatibility updates for new WooCommerce and WordPress core releases. Because the plugin is custom-built for your stack, updates are applied by us rather than pulled from a marketplace auto-updater — so nothing breaks silently. After the included window you can move to an ongoing support retainer for continued updates, monitoring and priority response.
No. This is build-to-order. ECOSIRE builds the plugin specifically for your store and Checkout.com configuration, installs it, and supports it. There is no public marketplace listing or self-serve download — that's deliberate, because Apple Pay domain verification, webhook secrets, risk rules and APM enablement all have to be wired to your actual account to work correctly.
The gateway uses Checkout.com Frames, which renders the card fields in an isolated iframe hosted by Checkout.com. Raw card numbers never reach your WordPress server or database, which keeps you in the lighter PCI-DSS SAQ-A category. We do not store PAN data; saved cards use Checkout.com network tokens, not card numbers.
Yes. The build is HPOS-compatible (WooCommerce high-performance custom order tables) and we verify it against your storage mode, your WPML setup or multisite, and your checkout — including block-based checkout where applicable. If you run a heavily customized or headless checkout, tell us upfront and we'll scope the integration to fit.
Yes, subject to your Checkout.com account. We configure multi-currency presentment and settlement so you can charge and settle in the currencies your account supports, and we enable BNPL methods such as Tabby and Tamara and MENA APMs like mada, KNET and Fawry where Checkout.com has activated them for you. Methods you aren't contracted for simply won't appear at checkout.
