The Custom Product Configurator & Personalizer turns a flat Shopify product page into a live design studio. Shoppers add text, upload images, pick colors and swatches, and watch a real-time preview canvas update before they add to cart — then your fulfillment team receives a print-ready file (PNG, SVG, PDF, or AI) attached to the order.
This is a build-to-order app, not an instant App Store install. ECOSIRE builds it to your exact product range, theme, and print workflow, then installs it on your store as a custom Shopify app and supports it directly. After purchase we scope your products and options, then deliver and install — there is no one-click download.
Technically, the configurator runs as a theme app embed / App Block on your product template, so it works with Online Store 2.0 themes without hard-coding. Configuration choices and the generated artwork URL are written to order line item properties and order metafields via the Admin GraphQL API, so every order carries its full personalization spec into Shopify admin, your packing slips, and downstream fulfillment. We register orders/create and orders/paid webhooks to push print files into your pipeline (email, S3, or a print partner) the moment payment clears.
Conditional logic and add-on pricing let one base product expand into many: show a monogram field only when "Add monogram" is selected, surcharge for a second print side, or gate premium materials. Layered, multi-side products (front/back, mug-wrap, two-sided signage) are supported with per-side artwork export. Pricing add-ons resolve through Shopify's cart and checkout so totals stay accurate and tax-correct.

No. This is a build-to-order app. After purchase, ECOSIRE scopes your products, options, and print workflow, then builds and installs a custom Shopify app on your store via OAuth. There is no one-click App Store install — it is configured to your exact catalog and fulfillment process.
How long does delivery and installation take?
A typical configurator for a focused product set is delivered in about 2 to 4 weeks from the kickoff call, depending on how many product types, sides, and pricing rules you need. We confirm a firm timeline after scoping. Larger catalogs or unusual print specs may take longer, and we will tell you upfront.
What ongoing support and updates do I get?
ECOSIRE supports the app directly after launch — bug fixes, Shopify API version upkeep, and theme-update compatibility. We can add product types, options, or pricing rules as your range grows. Support and enhancement terms are agreed during scoping; we do not abandon the build after handover.
What file formats does it export, and where do the files go?
It generates print-ready PNG, SVG, PDF, and AI files at your production dimensions, bleed, and DPI. On orders/create and orders/paid webhooks, files are pushed to the destination you choose — emailed to fulfillment, uploaded to an S3 bucket, or sent to a print partner — and the artwork URL plus all option choices are stored on the order's line item properties and metafields.
Will it work with my theme and survive theme updates?
Yes. The configurator installs as a theme App Block / app embed on Online Store 2.0 themes rather than hard-coded into your Liquid, so theme updates do not break it. We style it to match your fonts and brand colors during the build.
Can one product have conditional options and add-on pricing?
Yes. Conditional logic shows, hides, or requires fields based on earlier choices, and add-on pricing surcharges extras like a second print side or premium material. Those add-ons flow through Shopify's cart and checkout so order totals and tax stay correct — no manual invoice adjustments.
