Event Ticketing & Webinar Access turns your existing Shopify store into a full event box office — no separate ticketing platform, no per-ticket commission siphoned off by a third party. Each event and session is modeled on top of native Shopify primitives. Ticket tiers map to product variants, and per-session seat counts are enforced through multi-location inventory so a sold-out session genuinely stops selling — no overbooking. Event metadata (date, venue, livestream URL, session times) is stored in structured metafields, and orders are processed through your normal Shopify checkout, taxes and payment gateway.
On purchase, an orders/paid webhook generates a unique QR-coded ticket per attendee and triggers automated ticket-email delivery. At the door, your staff open a mobile check-in scanner that validates each QR against the Admin GraphQL API and marks it used — duplicate scans are rejected on the spot.
For virtual events, webinar/livestream access is gated: the join link is only released to verified ticket holders via a tokenized, time-limited access page, so links can't be freely shared. Organizers get a live attendee list with checked-in / not-arrived status and exportable CSV.
