Donors give in the flow they expect. We model one-time and recurring donation products using Shopify's native variant and selling-plan (subscription) APIs, so monthly gifts renew through Shopify's billing rather than a bolt-on. A round-up-at-checkout option and custom donation amounts are wired through a Theme App Extension and checkout UI extensions, so suggested and free-entry amounts work on your live theme and at checkout.
Every campaign gets a goal thermometer that reads live totals. We aggregate paid donation orders via the Admin GraphQL API and store running progress in metafields, updated by orders/paid and orders/create webhooks so the bar moves in near real time.
Compliance is handled honestly. Automated tax-deductible receipts are generated per gift with your EIN/registration number, receipt sequence and the donor's details, and gift-aid / donation-matching flags are captured at the point of giving for downstream reconciliation. A donor management and reporting layer tags customers, tracks lifetime giving and exports for your finance or CRM tools.

No. NGO Donation & Fundraising is build-to-order. After purchase, ECOSIRE custom-builds the app against your store, theme, currency and jurisdiction, then installs it for you via OAuth. You are buying a built-and-installed solution, not a self-serve listing.
+How long does delivery take after I order?
Typical delivery is about 2 to 4 weeks from order, depending on how many campaigns, receipt rules and theme touchpoints you need. We confirm a firm timeline during the kickoff scoping call and keep you updated through build, testing on your theme, and install.
+What ongoing support and updates are included?
Every build includes post-launch support from the ECOSIRE team. We fix issues, adapt to Shopify API and checkout-extension changes, and can add campaigns, receipt formats or reporting on request. Larger feature work or extended SLAs are quoted separately — there is no anonymous support queue, you work directly with us.
+Can donors give monthly, and how does the recurring billing work?
Yes. Recurring gifts are built on Shopify's native selling-plan / subscription APIs, so monthly donations renew through Shopify's own billing rather than a third-party charge. Donors manage their recurring gift the same way they would a Shopify subscription.
+Are the tax receipts compliant for my country?
Receipts are generated automatically per gift with your registration or EIN number, sequential receipt IDs and donor details, and we tailor the wording, fields and locale to your jurisdiction during the build. We implement the receipt format you and your accountant require, but we do not provide legal or tax advice — final compliance sign-off rests with your organization.
