Perishable goods don't forgive a missed delivery window. If you sell groceries, fresh flowers, or same-day baked goods, "ship whenever" is not good enough — your customers need to pick the exact date, the exact time slot, and choose between local delivery or store pickup before they pay.
The Local Delivery & Store Pickup Date Picker is a Shopify app that ECOSIRE builds to order and installs on your store. It is not an instant App Store download — we configure it around your zones, your locations, your cutoff times, and your theme, then deploy it as a private embedded app on your Shopify Admin.
On the storefront it adds a delivery date and time-slot picker to the cart and checkout, gated by zip/postal-code delivery zones so customers only see slots they actually qualify for. For pickup, it surfaces your multi-location store hours and lets shoppers book a collection window. Behind the scenes it enforces order cutoff and prep-time rules (e.g. "order by 2pm for next-day", "48h lead time for custom cakes") and applies per-zone delivery rates and surcharges.
Technically, the app is built on Shopify's embedded app framework with OAuth install, reads and writes scheduling data via the Admin GraphQL API, stores delivery/pickup selections as order metafields (so they appear on the order, in Flow, and on packing slips), respects your multi-location inventory for pickup availability, and subscribes to orders/create and orders/fulfilled webhooks to keep slot capacity accurate.

Is this an instant App Store download?
No. This is a build-to-order app. ECOSIRE configures it around your delivery zones, store locations, cutoff rules, and theme, then installs it on your store as a private embedded app via OAuth. You get a setup that matches your operation rather than a generic plugin you have to wire up yourself.
How long does delivery and installation take?
Most builds are delivered and installed within roughly 1-2 weeks of receiving your zones, location hours, and cutoff rules. The exact lead time depends on how many delivery zones and pickup locations you have and how complex your prep-time and surcharge logic is. We confirm a firm timeline with you before starting.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
After launch you get a support window for fixes and adjustments, plus ongoing maintenance to keep the app compatible with Shopify Admin API version updates and theme changes. ECOSIRE owns the maintenance — when Shopify deprecates an API version or changes checkout, we update the app. Configuration changes (new zones, new slots, new rules) are also supported.
Does it work with Shopify's multi-location inventory and pickup?
Yes. Pickup availability is tied to your Shopify multi-location inventory, so customers can only book collection of items actually in stock at that location. Each location uses its own opening hours, including holiday and exception-day overrides.
Where is the delivery and pickup information stored on the order?
The customer's chosen date, time slot, and delivery-or-pickup choice are written to order metafields via the Admin GraphQL API. That means the details show on the order in Admin, are available to Shopify Flow automations, and can be printed on packing slips and picking lists for your team.
