"When will it arrive?" is the single most common question before a shopper hits Buy — and uncertainty kills conversion. Estimated Delivery Date on Product & Cart answers it precisely, on the page, in real time.
This is a custom Shopify app built, installed and supported by ECOSIRE — not a one-click App Store download. After purchase we scope your shipping logic, build the app against your theme, install it on your store, and hand you a working delivery-date system. Typical delivery is 5–10 business days depending on rule complexity.
The app renders a dynamic estimated delivery date ("Order in 3h 12m to get it by Thu, Jul 4") on product, cart and checkout surfaces. Estimates are computed from per-zone and per-carrier transit times, a daily cut-off clock (order before the cut-off and today counts; after, it rolls forward), processing/handling days, and a holiday and non-working-day calendar so weekends and public holidays never inflate a promise you can't keep.
Technically, it's a proper embedded app: OAuth-authenticated, installed via the Admin GraphQL API, with shipping rules stored in shop metafields and surfaced through a theme app extension (App Embed / app block) so there's no hard-coded theme edit to maintain. It reads multi-location inventory and product/variant data to vary the date by stock state, and can listen to webhooks (e.g. products/update, inventory_levels/update) to keep estimates fresh. An optional countdown urgency timer drives the cut-off, and all copy renders in your store's active locale for multi-language storefronts.
Because we build it to your carriers, zones and warehouse reality — not a generic template — the dates are believable, and believable dates convert. ECOSIRE owns the build, the install and the ongoing support.

Is this an instant App Store download?
No. This is a build-to-order app. After purchase, ECOSIRE scopes your shipping logic, builds the app against your theme and carriers, then installs it on your store via OAuth. Typical delivery is 5–10 business days depending on how complex your zone, carrier and holiday rules are. We confirm a firm timeline with you at kickoff.
What happens after launch — do you provide support and updates?
Yes. Every build includes a post-launch support window for adjustments, bug fixes and Shopify platform-compatibility updates. ECOSIRE owns the codebase and remains your point of contact, so when Shopify changes its theme or API behaviour, or you add a new carrier or zone, we update the app. Extended support and retainer options are available.
How are the delivery dates actually calculated?
The app combines four inputs: your daily cut-off time, processing/handling days, the per-zone and per-carrier transit-time matrix, and a holiday/non-working-day calendar. If a shopper orders before the cut-off, today counts toward dispatch; after it, the clock rolls to the next working day. Weekends and public holidays are skipped so the 'arrives by' date stays realistic.
Will it slow down my theme or require permanent theme-code edits?
No hard-coded theme surgery. We deliver the date display through a Shopify theme app extension (App Embed / app block), so it installs cleanly and can be removed without leaving leftover code. The calculation logic runs in the app, keeping the storefront light, and it reads your data through the Admin GraphQL API and metafields.
Can it show different dates for out-of-stock items and multiple warehouses?
Yes. The app reads Shopify multi-location inventory and variant stock state, so an in-stock item and a back-ordered item can show different delivery estimates. It can subscribe to inventory and product webhooks to keep those estimates fresh as stock levels change across your locations.
