The eBay Marketplace Connector for Shopify puts your Shopify catalog in front of eBay's auction and fixed-price buyer base without forcing you to re-key listings or babysit two stock counts. It keeps inventory, orders and fulfillment in sync both ways so a sale on either channel decrements the right Shopify location in near real time.
This is a build-to-order integration, not an instant App Store install. After you purchase, ECOSIRE builds the connector against your Shopify store and your eBay seller accounts, installs it as a custom Shopify app (private/custom app with scoped Admin API access via OAuth), and configures it for your product structure, locations and the regional eBay sites you sell on. There is no public Shopify App Store download link — we deliver and support it directly.
How it works technically. The connector reads your catalog through Shopify's Admin GraphQL API, maps Shopify variants (multi-SKU) to eBay item variations, and writes listings to eBay via the eBay Sell APIs (Inventory & Fulfillment). Shopify product/inventory/order webhooks trigger live stock and order updates; eBay notifications flow back to import orders and push shipment tracking to both sides. Stock is tracked against Shopify multi-location inventory, and channel-specific data (eBay item IDs, listing state, category mappings) is stored in Shopify metafields so your data stays portable.

Is this a free Shopify App Store app I can install instantly?
No. This is a build-to-order integration. After purchase, ECOSIRE builds the connector against your specific Shopify store and eBay accounts and installs it as a custom Shopify app. There is no public App Store listing or self-serve download — we deliver and configure it for you directly.
How long until it's live after I buy?
Typical delivery is around two to three weeks from the kickoff call, depending on catalog size, how many regional eBay sites you sell on, and how clean your variant/SKU data is. We scope a firm timeline with you up front and usually pilot on a subset of products before enabling your full catalog.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
The build includes a post-launch support window for bug fixes and for adapting to Shopify Admin API and eBay Sell API changes. Beyond that window, ECOSIRE offers an optional maintenance arrangement so the connector keeps working as both platforms evolve. Because you own the deployed configuration, you are never locked out of your own integration.
Will it prevent overselling across Shopify and eBay?
Yes — that's a core design goal. Inventory is tracked against Shopify multi-location stock, and webhook-driven sync updates eBay quantities in near real time. When a Shopify SKU hits zero, the matching eBay listing is auto-deactivated or set to zero quantity. Retry logic handles eBay API rate limits so updates aren't silently dropped.
Can it handle product variants and multiple eBay regional sites?
Yes. Shopify variants (multi-SKU products) are mapped to eBay item variations so a single listing carries all your options. We configure each regional eBay site (US/UK/DE/AU) you sell on, with per-site pricing rules so you can apply currency-specific prices or margins to cover fees and shipping.
How does it connect to my store and eBay — do I share passwords?
No password sharing. The connector uses Shopify OAuth as a scoped custom app (least-privilege Admin API access) and eBay OAuth for your seller account. You authorize access through the official consent screens, and access can be revoked at any time from your Shopify and eBay admin.
