Running a dropshipping store on Shopify means living between two systems that rarely talk to each other: your suppliers' catalogs and your storefront. The result is manual CSV imports, oversold products, stale prices and customers asking "where's my order?" This connector closes that gap.
The Dropshipping Supplier Sync Connector is a build-to-order Shopify app — ECOSIRE builds it for your specific suppliers, installs it on your store, and supports it after launch. It is not an instant App Store download. After you order, our team scopes your supplier feeds (CSV, Google Sheets, FTP/SFTP, REST/JSON, or a supplier API), maps their fields to your Shopify product structure, and ships a working integration.
Under the hood it uses the Shopify Admin GraphQL API and OAuth for a secure, least-privilege install. Inventory is written against your multi-location inventory so stock reflects the supplier actually fulfilling each SKU. Supplier identifiers, lead times and cost prices are stored in metafields so your theme and reports can use them. Order-created webhooks trigger automatic routing to the correct supplier, and fulfillment + tracking write-back updates Shopify (and emails the customer) the moment a supplier ships.
You also get margin and markup rules — fixed percentage, tiered, or per-supplier — so retail prices recalculate automatically when a supplier changes cost, protecting your margin without manual edits.

How long until the connector is live on my store?
Because this is build-to-order, it's not an instant download. After you order, we schedule a short scoping call to review your suppliers and feeds, then build and install the app. Typical delivery is around 2 to 4 weeks depending on how many suppliers you onboard and how clean their feeds are. Unusual or undocumented supplier APIs can extend that — we confirm a realistic timeline with you before work starts.
What ongoing support and updates do I get after launch?
ECOSIRE supports the connector after it goes live. What supplier feed formats can you connect to?
Common formats are supported: CSV, Google Sheets, FTP/SFTP file drops, and REST/JSON or XML APIs. If your supplier offers a documented API we can integrate directly with it. During scoping we review each supplier's feed and confirm what's feasible before building.
Will it oversell products if two suppliers stock the same SKU?
No — that's exactly what the connector is built to prevent. Stock is written against Shopify's multi-location inventory, and you can set supplier priority and fallback rules so a shared SKU draws from your preferred supplier first and falls back automatically when they run out, keeping the storefront quantity accurate.
Do I own the app once it's built?
Yes. The connector is built for your store and you own the result. ECOSIRE provides the build, the install and ongoing support, but it's your integration running on your Shopify account, configured around your suppliers and pricing.
