Reconciling Shopify deposits to your bank is where bookkeeping quietly breaks. A single Shopify Payments payout bundles dozens of orders minus refunds, chargebacks, and processing fees — then lands in your bank as one lump sum that never matches an order total. Add PayPal and Stripe deposits on their own schedules and reconciliation becomes hours of manual cross-referencing every week.
Bank Feed & Transaction Reconciliation is a Shopify app ECOSIRE builds to order for your store. It pulls your Shopify payout data through the Admin GraphQL API (shopifyPaymentsAccount, payouts, and per-transaction balanceTransactions), imports your bank-feed transactions, and automatically matches each bank deposit to its originating payout — accounting for fees, refunds, and timing gaps. Deposits from Shopify Payments, PayPal, and Stripe are normalized into one reconciliation ledger so you stop juggling three exports.
This is honest build-to-order software, not an instant App Store install. After purchase, ECOSIRE configures the app to your gateways, chart of accounts, and bank-feed format (CSV/OFX import or a connected aggregator), installs it on your store via a custom OAuth app, and validates the first reconciliation run with you. Matched and unmatched transactions surface on a status dashboard; anything that can't be auto-matched is flagged with the reason (fee variance, missing deposit, split payout) so a human can resolve it in seconds.
When you're satisfied, reconciled entries export to your general ledger (QuickBooks, Xero, or CSV) in a journal-ready format. The build includes installation, a walkthrough, and a support window. You own a tool tuned to your deposit patterns — not a generic listing you have to bend your books around.
An owner-operator tired of spending weekends matching one lump Shopify Payments payout against dozens of orders and a separate PayPal deposit. They want deposits reconciled and exported to QuickBooks without becoming an accountant.
A bookkeeper or accounting firm reconciling several stores each month, each with different gateways and payout schedules. They need a consistent, auditable matching process and clean journal exports instead of bespoke spreadsheets per client.
Running Shopify Payments, PayPal, and Stripe across one or more currencies, they need payouts, fees, and refunds reconciled accurately and tied to the GL so month-end close is fast and defensible at audit.

No. This is a build-to-order app. ECOSIRE builds it to your gateways, bank-feed format, and chart of accounts, then installs it on your store via a custom OAuth app. You are not downloading a generic listing — you receive a tool configured to your store's actual deposit patterns.
Most builds are delivered in roughly 1 to 3 weeks after we confirm your gateways, bank-feed source, and accounting system. Timing depends on how many gateways you use, whether your bank feed is CSV/OFX or aggregator-connected, and the complexity of your chart of accounts. We give you a firm date after a short scoping call.
Every build includes a post-launch support window covering bug fixes and configuration adjustments (new fee mappings, tolerance tuning, added gateways). If Shopify changes its Admin API or payout structure, we update the integration. Longer-term maintenance and feature additions are available as an ongoing arrangement.
Out of the box we support Shopify Payments, PayPal, and Stripe deposits, with exports to QuickBooks, Xero, or CSV. Additional gateways or accounting destinations can be scoped into the build. We map fees, refunds, and chargebacks to the correct GL accounts during setup.
Shopify pays out a net lump sum (orders minus refunds, chargebacks, and processing fees). The app reads each payout's individual balance transactions through the Admin GraphQL API, reconstructs the gross-to-net breakdown, and matches that net figure to the corresponding bank deposit. Fee and refund lines map to your designated GL accounts so the deposit reconciles cleanly.
No. The app only reads transaction and payout data to reconcile records — it never holds funds or initiates transfers. It uses scoped, read-oriented Admin API access for payouts, orders, and refunds, plus your imported bank-feed data, and writes reconciled entries to your accounting system or a CSV export.
