Magento's native bin/magento import/export and the admin System → Data Transfer screens only cover a handful of entities (products, customers, advanced pricing, stock) and force you into a rigid CSV column layout. This module ships as a proper Composer package under app/code/Ecosire/ImprovedImportExport, registered via module.xml and wired through di.xml, with its own admin menu, ACL resources (Magento_Backend::admin-scoped), and system configuration section.
It handles any entity — simple/configurable products, orders, invoices, customers, categories, CMS blocks/pages, and MSI source-item stock — in CSV, XML, XLSX, ODS, and JSON. Jobs run on demand from the admin grid, on a schedule via Magento cron (crontab.xml), or headless through a custom CLI command registered in di.xml for CI/CD and ETL pipelines.
Data moves through six-plus connectors: Google Sheets, FTP/SFTP, Dropbox, OneDrive, and direct URL pulls, with local file fallback. A visual attribute-mapping layer plus optional XSLT transforms reshape foreign feeds (supplier catalogs, ERP exports, marketplace formats) into Magento-valid rows without manual cleanup. Imports run in batches with validation, duplicate handling, and a full execution log so a failed row never silently corrupts your catalog.
Because we build it to order, the module respects your service contracts and can emit events/observers other modules subscribe to — or expose import status over REST/GraphQL when you need it. You get clean, upgrade-safe code and an engineer who knows the build.
