Gift Card & Voucher Manager turns your Magento 2 (Open Source) or Adobe Commerce store into a gifting revenue channel with a store-credit-style instrument your customers can buy, send and redeem. This is a build-to-order extension — ECOSIRE engineers it for your specific store, installs it under app/code/Ecosire/GiftCard, configures it against your theme and gateway, and supports it. It is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download.
The module ships as a proper Magento component: a new gift card product type, custom EAV attributes for amount rules (fixed denominations or open/custom amounts), and a dedicated ecosire_giftcard entity for issued cards with secure, hashed codes. Branded email templates (transactional, theme-aware) and optional physical-card PDFs carry your logo, colors and the buyer's personal message. Delivery is decoupled via Magento's message queue and a cron group so scheduled email / SMS / print fulfillment runs reliably even at peak.
Redemption is wired into native checkout as a payment-adjacent store-credit-style instrument using a plugin (interceptor) on the quote totals collector, so partial redemption and remaining-balance carry-forward behave correctly with taxes and other discounts. Everything is exposed through service contracts (repository interfaces) plus REST and GraphQL endpoints, so headless / PWA Studio storefronts and your POS can issue and check balances programmatically. Admin gets a grid, ACL-gated actions (Ecosire_GiftCard::manage), and full audit logging via observers on issue, redeem and refund events.

Is this an instant download from the Adobe Commerce Marketplace?
No. Gift Card & Voucher Manager is build-to-order. ECOSIRE engineers the module for your specific Magento 2 Open Source or Adobe Commerce store, installs it under app/code, configures it against your theme and gateway, and hands over the source. There is no Marketplace listing or self-serve download — that's deliberate, so the gift card product type, redemption logic and templates fit your install correctly.
What is the delivery lead time?
After we confirm scope (denomination rules, delivery channels, theme, headless or not), a standard build is typically delivered in about 2–3 weeks. Larger scope — custom SMS gateways, PWA Studio / GraphQL storefront work, multi-website rollouts or POS integration — extends that. You get a firm timeline in writing before we start, not an estimate that drifts.
How do ongoing support and updates work after delivery?
The build includes a support window for bug fixes and minor adjustments after go-live, plus an install/operations runbook. Because you own the source repository, you're never locked in. Beyond the initial window we offer an optional retainer that covers compatibility checks against Magento / Adobe Commerce patch releases and minor version upgrades — priced separately so you only pay for what you need.
Will partial redemption and balances work correctly with taxes, coupons and shipping?
Yes. Redemption is implemented as a plugin (interceptor) on the quote totals collector rather than a bolt-on coupon, so a partially-used card carries its remaining balance forward and composes correctly with tax calculation, other discounts and shipping. Every issue, redeem and refund is logged via observers for clean finance reconciliation.
Does it support headless / PWA Studio and our POS?
Yes. The module exposes service contracts (repository interfaces) plus REST and GraphQL endpoints for issuing cards, redeeming them and checking balances. That means a PWA Studio or other headless frontend can drive the full flow, and an external POS can issue or redeem the same cards as the web store. API documentation is part of the handover.
