Dropshipping Automation for Magento 2 is a build-to-order extension that ECOSIRE designs, develops, installs, and supports directly on your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce install. This is not an instant Adobe Commerce Marketplace download — we build it to fit your catalog, your suppliers, and your existing fulfillment workflow, then deploy it through your normal release pipeline.
For merchants running a hybrid stock + dropship model, the hard part is deciding who fulfills each line item and getting that PO to the right supplier without manual copy-paste. This module solves exactly that. It ships as a proper Magento module under app/code/Ecosire/DropshipAutomation, wired through di.xml dependency injection, with an sales_order_place_after observer that splits the order, scores candidate suppliers and warehouses, and routes each item automatically.
Suppliers get their own ACL-gated admin area (or an optional isolated portal) where they accept POs, confirm stock, upload tracking, and trigger shipment creation — all written back to Magento via service contracts, never direct SQL. A plugin/interceptor on the inventory source-selection flow auto-suggests the nearest warehouse using your configured source priorities to cut shipping cost and transit time. Routing rules, supplier catalogs, margins, and SLA timers run on Magento cron, and every action is exposed over REST and GraphQL so headless storefronts and supplier integrations stay in sync.
Because we build it for you, the module respects Adobe Commerce MSI (Multi-Source Inventory) where present and degrades gracefully on Open Source. You own the code. We honor coding standards, write the acl.xml and system.xml config, and hand over a deployable, upgrade-safe package — plus a support window for the work we delivered.
Stocks bestsellers in-house but dropships long-tail SKUs. Needs each order line routed to the right supplier or warehouse automatically instead of manual triage in the admin.
Manages multiple suppliers and SLAs. Wants PO dispatch, tracking write-back, and stale-order escalation handled on cron with clear performance reporting.
Owns the codebase and wants a clean, standards-compliant module (DI, service contracts, no sql.raw equivalents) that upgrades safely and exposes REST/GraphQL for headless and supplier integrations.

It is not an instant Marketplace download. This is build-to-order: ECOSIRE develops, installs, and configures the module on your Magento install. A typical build runs about 3 to 5 weeks depending on supplier count, routing complexity, and whether you are on Adobe Commerce MSI or Open Source. We confirm a firm timeline after a short scoping call and deliver to staging first, then production.
The build includes a post-delivery support window to fix any defects in the work we delivered and to assist with your release pipeline. Because you own the code, you can maintain it yourself or retain ECOSIRE for Magento version-upgrade compatibility, new routing rules, additional supplier onboarding, and feature extensions under a separate support agreement.
Yes. On Adobe Commerce it integrates with Multi-Source Inventory (MSI) source selection and source priorities. On Magento Open Source it provides its own warehouse-to-product assignment layer and degrades gracefully where MSI features differ. We confirm your edition and version during scoping.
Routing fires from an `sales_order_place_after` observer that evaluates each order item against your rules (cheapest, fastest, in-stock, or geo-nearest), splits the order, and dispatches POs. Nearest-warehouse suggestion is a plugin/interceptor on the source-selection flow. All writes go through Magento service contracts and repositories, never direct SQL, and every action is audit-logged.
Yes. Suppliers get an ACL-gated area defined in acl.xml with scoped permissions, so they only see and act on their own POs, stock confirmations, and tracking uploads. Their tracking submissions create Magento shipments through service contracts. You can also expose the same operations over REST/GraphQL for suppliers who prefer system-to-system integration.
Yes. PO lifecycle, routing status, and supplier feeds are exposed over both REST and GraphQL, so headless storefronts, PWA Studio, or external supplier systems can read and update fulfillment state. We provide endpoint documentation and a ready-to-use API collection at handover.
