The extension adds table and page extensions to the Contact and Customer cards, plus dedicated marketing pages for campaigns, templates, journeys, and analytics. AL event subscribers keep your marketing audience in real-time sync: when a contact is created or a customer's region, balance, or sales figures change, the audience and segments update automatically — no nightly batch lag. A drag-and-drop email editor lets your team design branded campaigns without HTML, and automation flows (welcome series, re-engagement, post-sale follow-ups) run on the BC Job Queue so journeys fire on schedule and on trigger.

How long does delivery take, and how is it installed?

This is a build-to-order extension, not an instant download. After a short scoping call to confirm your segments, templates, automations, and sending domain, typical delivery is about 2 to 4 weeks depending on complexity. ECOSIRE builds the AL extension, tests it, and installs it as a per-tenant extension on your Business Central environment (SaaS or on-prem), then runs a handover session. You receive the installed extension, permission sets, and documentation.

What ongoing support and updates are included after delivery?

Delivery includes a warranty period covering defect fixes and configuration adjustments. After that, ECOSIRE offers optional support and maintenance — including compatibility updates for new Business Central major releases (BC ships waves twice a year), template and automation changes, and new segments. We supply the source AL package, so you are never locked in; you can also have your own partner maintain it.

Do I need a separate CRM or marketing platform to use this?

No. That is the point of the product. The email marketing engine lives inside Business Central and reads your contacts, customers, and sales data directly. You manage campaigns, journeys, and analytics from BC pages, using BC permission sets — no second platform to license, learn, or keep in sync.

How does the email actually get sent — what gateway does it use?

During the build, ECOSIRE wires the extension to your chosen sending path: either an SMTP relay or a transactional email API (for example a provider you already use). Sends are queued and dispatched via the BC Job Queue. We configure your sending domain with the appropriate SPF, DKIM, and DMARC guidance so campaigns reach inboxes reliably.

Will it slow down Business Central or interfere with finance operations?

No. The sync runs through targeted AL event subscribers and the Job Queue, so bulk sends and journey processing happen asynchronously rather than blocking user transactions. Marketing functions are isolated behind dedicated permission sets, so marketing users never touch finance or admin areas, and the extension follows AL best practices to coexist cleanly with your other extensions.

Can the campaign analytics feed into Power BI?

Yes. Open, click, bounce, and unsubscribe metrics are stored on BC tables and surfaced on dedicated pages. Optionally, ECOSIRE can expose them through the BC OData/REST API or push them to Dataverse so you can build Power BI dashboards alongside your sales and finance reporting.
