Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ships with strong core HR and a generic payroll data model, but it has no Egyptian localization out of the box — no NSSI social-insurance logic, no Egyptian progressive tax table, no Form 4/6, no Arabic payslip. This product closes that gap.
ECOSIRE builds Egypt Payroll & HR as a per-tenant AL extension installed directly into your Business Central environment (cloud SaaS or on-prem). It is delivered build-to-order: we scope your company's CBE/NSSI registration details, salary structure and earning/deduction codes, then build, install and support the extension. This is not an instant Microsoft AppSource download — it is a configured, supported deployment on your tenant.
Under the hood we add table and page extensions to the employee and payroll ledger, event subscribers on the payroll posting routine to inject Egyptian calculations, and dedicated calculation codeunits for the progressive income-tax brackets and the National Social Insurance contribution split (employer/employee share, with the statutory minimum and maximum wage caps). Statutory reports — including the Form 4 / Form 6 social-insurance returns — generate as report objects you can export and file.
Bilingual Arabic/English payslips render natively, respecting RTL layout. The extension exposes payroll runs over the Business Central REST/OData API so figures flow into Power BI or Dataverse / Power Platform flows. Permission sets ship scoped (Payroll Admin vs. read-only HR), and recurring runs can be queued through the job queue.
Because contribution rates, tax brackets and the insurance wage ceiling change by ministerial decree, we keep the calculation tables configurable and offer an annual update path. You own the data; we own the code maintenance.

How long does delivery take, and is this an instant AppSource download?
This is build-to-order, not an instant AppSource install. After we scope your salary structure, NSSI/CBE registration details and earning/deduction codes, typical delivery is around one working week depending on complexity. ECOSIRE then installs the per-tenant extension into your Business Central environment and validates a parallel payroll run with you before go-live.
What ongoing support and updates are included?
Egyptian tax brackets, NSSI rates and the insurable-wage ceiling change by ministerial decree. Because we keep those values in configurable tables, most changes are data edits we can guide you through. We also offer an annual update path to ship a new extension version when calculation logic itself changes, and we provide post-go-live support for issues, new report needs and Business Central platform upgrades.
Will this survive Business Central platform upgrades?
Yes. We build only table/page extensions and event subscribers — we never modify base Microsoft objects. That keeps the extension upgrade-safe across Business Central cloud update waves. We re-test and recompile against new major versions as part of the update path.
Does the payroll data integrate with Power BI and the rest of our stack?
Payroll runs and payslip figures are exposed over the Business Central REST/OData API, so you can pull them into Power BI dashboards or drive Dataverse / Power Platform flows. Postings hit your general ledger with your existing dimensions, keeping tax and insurance liabilities in your standard financial reporting.
Can it handle end-of-service and leave encashment?
Yes. End-of-service gratuity and leave-encashment entitlements are computed from employee tenure, last salary and accrued leave balances tracked in Business Central. The rules are configured to your company policy during the build so final-settlement figures are calculated consistently.
