The Amazon Marketplace Connector is a custom AL extension that links your Amazon Selling Partner account to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, so orders, listings, stock and money all reconcile in your ERP instead of in spreadsheets.

It pulls orders from the Amazon SP-API (Selling Partner API) — both MFN (merchant-fulfilled) and FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) — and creates the matching Sales Orders or posted Sales Invoices in Business Central with correct customer, item, tax and marketplace mapping. A scheduled Job Queue entry polls Amazon on the cadence you choose, while AL event subscribers push BC inventory and price changes back to your Amazon listings.

On the finance side, the connector imports settlement reports and reconciles Amazon referral fees, FBA fees, refunds and reserves against your bank and revenue accounts, so your Amazon payouts tie out cleanly at month-end.

This is honestly build-to-order. It is not an instant AppSource download. How long until the connector is live on our Business Central?

Because this is build-to-order, ECOSIRE first scopes your marketplaces, item catalog, tax setup and chart of accounts, then builds, installs and tests the per-tenant extension on your environment. A typical engagement runs about 3–6 weeks from kickoff to go-live depending on how many marketplaces and how complex your fee/tax reconciliation is. You receive a firm timeline after scoping — no instant download.

Do we get ongoing support and updates after go-live?

Yes. The build includes an initial post-go-live support window for fixes and tuning. Because the SP-API and Business Central both evolve, we offer ongoing support and maintenance (SP-API version updates, BC upgrade compatibility, new marketplace endpoints, mapping changes) on a retainer or per-change basis. As a per-tenant extension we can update it directly on your tenant without waiting on an AppSource release cycle.

Is this the same as an app I install from Microsoft AppSource?

No. This is not an instant AppSource listing. It is a custom AL extension built specifically for your tenant and your data, installed and supported by ECOSIRE. That means it fits your exact GL, tax and item mapping rather than forcing your processes into a generic app — at the cost of an honest build lead time.

Does it work with both Business Central cloud (SaaS) and on-premises?

Yes. The extension is built in AL and deployed as a per-tenant extension on BC SaaS, or installed on a Business Central on-premises / private-cloud environment. SP-API credentials are stored securely in Isolated Storage in both cases. We confirm your deployment model during scoping.

How are Amazon fees and payouts reconciled in Business Central?

The connector imports Amazon settlement reports and breaks each payout into its components — referral fees, FBA fees, refunds, reserves and the net deposit — then posts them against the GL accounts you map during setup. This lets your Amazon bank deposits reconcile line-by-line instead of landing as one unexplained lump sum.
