Standard Dynamics 365 Business Central has no concept of a forwarding order, a house bill under a master bill, a voyage, or a carrier settlement. Freight Forwarding & Container Management is an AL extension ECOSIRE builds for your tenant to close that gap. It is not an instant AppSource download. We scope your forwarding workflow, build the extension, install it as a per-tenant extension on your Business Central environment (cloud or on-prem), and support it after go-live.
The extension adds first-class tables and pages for Forwarding Orders, House Bills and Master Bills (HBL/MBL consolidation), Containers, and Voyages — wired into native BC documents through table and page extensions plus event subscribers, so costs flow to your existing G/L accounts, dimensions, and customer/vendor ledgers. Multi-stage carrier execution lets you record pickup, gateway, ocean/air leg, and delivery against each shipment, then reconcile what each carrier actually billed versus your accrual through carrier settlement. Customer freight invoicing pulls billable charges straight onto BC sales invoices. Customs document handling stores and tracks declarations, bills of lading, and clearance paperwork against each shipment.
Everything respects BC permission sets, runs scheduled reconciliation through the job queue, and is reachable over the standard BC REST/OData v4 API for integration with carrier portals, customs gateways, or Power BI. Because it is your code on your tenant, you are never locked into a vendor's roadmap.

No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE scopes your forwarding workflow, builds the AL extension, and installs it as a per-tenant extension directly on your Business Central environment. There is no public AppSource listing to download — you get code built and deployed for your tenant.
+How long does delivery take?
Typical lead time is about 3 to 6 weeks from a confirmed scope, depending on how many charge types, carrier integrations, and customs document flows you need. We start with a short scoping session, agree the build, deliver to your sandbox for review, then install to production. We give you an honest date before you commit.
+What happens with support and updates after go-live?
You get a post-go-live support window for fixes and adjustments. Because it is a per-tenant extension on your environment, it does not auto-update with AppSource. ECOSIRE recompiles and re-tests the extension against new Business Central releases (Microsoft ships major updates twice a year) under a support or retainer arrangement, so it keeps installing cleanly. You also receive the source, so any BC partner can maintain it.
+Will it work with my existing chart of accounts, dimensions, and tax setup?
Yes. The extension uses table and page extensions and event subscribers rather than replacing native documents, so freight costs and customer invoices post to your existing G/L accounts, dimensions, and tax/VAT setup. Customer freight invoicing creates standard BC sales invoices.
+Can it integrate with carrier portals, customs gateways, or Power BI?
Yes. Forwarding orders, containers, and voyages are exposed over the standard Business Central REST/OData v4 API, so in-scope integrations to carrier systems, customs gateways, or Power BI/Power Platform can read and write data. Dataverse surfacing for Power Apps and Power Automate is available as an option.
+Cloud or on-premises — which Business Central does this support?
Both. The extension is AL code that installs as a per-tenant extension on Business Central online (SaaS) or on a Business Central on-premises/private deployment. We confirm your version and environment during scoping and target a supported release.
