Etsy Connector for Business Central is a custom AL extension that ECOSIRE designs, builds, installs and supports on your Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. It is not an instant AppSource download — we scope your Etsy shop, build the connector to fit your item structure and tax setup, then deploy it as a per-tenant extension you fully own.
The connector authenticates to the Etsy Open API v3 (OAuth 2.0) and runs on the BC Job Queue, so receipts flow in on a schedule without manual exports. Each Etsy receipt becomes a BC Sales Order (or posted invoice, your choice) with the buyer mapped to a Customer record, line items matched to your Items by SKU, and Etsy's order-level discounts, shipping and sales tax mapped to the correct GL and tax posting groups.
Under the hood we ship table extensions to stamp Etsy receipt IDs, transaction IDs and shop identifiers onto BC records (idempotent — no duplicate orders on re-run), page extensions to expose Etsy fields and a manual "Sync now" action, and event subscribers on item, price and shipment posting so changes write back to Etsy automatically. Listings publish from BC Items with their variations (size, color) and Etsy personalization fields; inventory and price changes sync outbound; and when you post a shipment, tracking numbers write back to the Etsy receipt to trigger buyer notifications.
Everything is governed by a dedicated permission set, structured telemetry, and a retry/error log you can read inside BC. Because it's a true extension (no base-app modifications), it survives Microsoft's monthly updates. Where it makes sense, we can surface sync data to Dataverse / Power Platform for Power BI dashboards or Power Automate alerts. You get the AL source, documentation, and a support window from the team that built it.

This is build-to-order. After a short scoping call we confirm your Etsy shop structure, item/SKU model and tax setup, then build and install the extension. A standard single-shop connector typically takes about 2-4 weeks from scoping to production go-live, including a sandbox UAT cycle. We give you a firm timeline in writing before any payment beyond the initial scope; complex variation, multi-shop or heavy tax/customization needs extend it and we say so up front.
You get a defined post-launch window covering bug fixes and adjustments at no extra charge. Because the connector is a true per-tenant extension with no base-app modifications, it keeps working across Microsoft's monthly Business Central updates. If Etsy changes their Open API, or you want new features, that's covered by an optional ongoing support and maintenance plan. You also receive the full AL source, so you're never locked to us.

Imports are idempotent: every Etsy receipt and transaction ID is stored on the BC record via table extensions, so re-running the Job Queue never creates a second order for the same receipt. All logic lives in extension objects and event subscribers — we never modify the base application — so monthly Microsoft updates won't break it.
