The plugin registers a proper WC_Payment_Gateway so iDEAL appears as a first-class method at checkout (classic shortcode or the block-based Checkout via the Store API). Shoppers pick their bank in the iDEAL bank-selector before redirect, complete payment at their bank, and return to a clean order-received page. We wire the asynchronous status webhook so order status flips on the provider's callback — not on the browser return — so closed tabs and slow banks never strand an order in pending.
Beyond iDEAL we enable the Dutch local-method mix you actually need: Bancontact for Belgian buyers, SOFORT, and SEPA Direct Debit for recurring or invoice flows.
