Technically, the connector subscribes to Shopify orders/create and orders/paid webhooks, reads order, customer, and line-item data through the Admin GraphQL API, maps each line to the correct VAT/GST rate per country, and generates a compliant invoice payload. For Jordan it submits to JoFotara and handles the returned clearance/QR data; for other GCC profiles it follows that country's format. The cleared invoice number, status, and QR code are written back to Shopify order metafields, so your team sees compliance state without leaving the admin. A single multi-mandate dashboard shows submitted, cleared, and failed invoices across every country you operate in.
