PayTabs Payment Gateway for Magento 2 is a custom-built payment extension that ECOSIRE engineers, installs, and supports directly on your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce store. This is not an instant Marketplace download — we build it to fit your PayTabs merchant account, your checkout, and your store's region, then deploy it on your environment.

The module ships as a proper Magento 2 component under app/code/Ecosire/PayTabs, registered through registration.php and module.xml. It implements Magento's payment service contracts — a gateway command pool wired via di.xml (authorize, capture, refund, void, cancel), a Config provider for the storefront, and a ConfigProvider feeding the Checkout LayoutProcessor. Both PayTabs hosted-page checkout (redirect/iframe) and direct API checkout are supported, so you choose between PCI-light redirect flows and an on-site card form per your compliance posture.

Payment methods follow PayTabs' MENA coverage: mada, Visa/Mastercard, and supported local methods, with 3D Secure handled through PayTabs' authentication flow. Server-to-server callbacks are verified in a dedicated controller and reconciled against the quote/order via an observer on sales_order_place_after and transaction records, so order state never depends solely on the browser return.

Admins refund and void straight from the order view — creditmemo and void actions call the gateway commands, no PayTabs dashboard round-trip. For marketplace stores (e.g. Webkul/Marketplace-style multi-vendor), we add split payment and per-vendor refund logic so settlements map to the correct seller.

Everything is delivered with admin ACL, system configuration under Stores → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods, sandbox/production toggles, and structured logging. We install on staging first, verify against your PayTabs sandbox, then go live — and we stand behind it.
