اس مصنوع کے بارے میں

Pest control is a recurring-service business wearing a project-services ERP. A single commercial contract might be twelve visits a year across four sites, each with a different treatment plan, each consuming a scheduled quantity of a registered product that a regulator can ask you to account for down to the millilitre. ERPNext core gives you Customer, Contract, Item, Stock Entry, Sales Invoice and a Maintenance Schedule that was designed for equipment servicing — it can tell you a visit is due, but it has no concept of a treatment plan, a bait station, a re-entry interval, an applicator licence, or a chemical batch traceable from a stock bin to a specific customer premises. Most operators end up bridging that gap with a scheduling spreadsheet, a paper chemical register and a WhatsApp thread with technicians, then rebuild the numbers by hand when an audit or a renewal season arrives.

ECOSIRE builds this as a proper Frappe app — its own module, installed on your bench with bench get-app and bench install-app, versioned in a git repository you own. The data model is a set of purpose-built DocTypes that link into ERPNext rather than replacing it: Pest Control Contract (with a child table of covered sites and scheduled treatments, linked to the ERPNext Customer and to a Sales Order or Subscription for billing), Service Site with its own address, access notes and site plan attachments, Treatment Plan defining target pests, methods, approved products and frequency, Treatment Visit as the operational document a technician completes, and Chemical Product extending the ERPNext Item with registration number, active ingredient, approved dilution range, re-entry interval and safety data sheet attachment. Applicator Licence tracks each technician's certification class and expiry.

The automation lives where Frappe expects it. Scheduler events registered in hooks.py materialise the next window of Treatment Visit records from every active contract's frequency rule, flag contracts entering their renewal window, and raise alerts for applicator licences and product registrations approaching expiry. Doc events on Treatment Visit submit enforce the rules that matter: an unlicensed technician cannot be assigned to a restricted-product treatment, a recorded dose outside the approved dilution range is blocked with a clear validation message, and submitting the visit posts a Stock Entry that consumes the actual chemical quantity from the technician's van warehouse — so batch and serial traceability, if you use it, runs straight through ERPNext's own inventory ledger instead of a parallel paper register. A daily route sheet groups the day's visits by technician and sequence, and the mobile-friendly visit form (a client script over the standard Frappe form, so it works in the Frappe mobile view without a separate app) captures findings per bait station or treatment point, pest activity levels, customer signature and photos. On submit, a Jinja print format renders the service report and, where the contract requires it, a numbered treatment certificate, emailed automatically to the site contact.

Everything is reachable over the Frappe REST API and a small set of @frappe.whitelist() methods, so a field app, a customer portal page or a third-party scheduling tool can read the day's route and post back visit results without touching the database directly. Permissions ship as role profiles — Technician, Service Supervisor, Compliance Officer, Accounts — with user permissions restricting technicians to their own visits and supervisors to their branch. Reporting includes chemical usage by product, site and period (the shape most regulators ask for), visit completion and SLA adherence, pest activity trends per site, and a contract renewal pipeline with expiry-dated value. Everything is built and tested against Frappe/ERPNext v15 and v16, on your version and your deployment.

This is build-to-order, not a marketplace download. You request a quotation, we run a scoping call to map your contract types, treatment plans, chemical register and the reports your regulator actually asks for, and we come back with a fixed scope, price and timeline. Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope. We install and configure on your staging bench first, run UAT with your supervisors and one or two technicians against real contracts, then deploy to production with a documented rollback plan. You receive the full source, the git repository, technical and user documentation, a live training session and a post-go-live support window.

What you get

  • Installable Frappe app source code built and tested for your exact ERPNext version (v15 or v16)
  • Installation and configuration on your staging bench and then production, including role profiles, print formats and scheduler setup
  • Technical documentation: DocType reference, hooks and scheduler events, whitelisted API methods and customisation notes
  • User guide plus a live training session for supervisors, technicians and compliance staff
  • UAT on staging against your real contracts and chemical register, with a documented rollback plan before production deployment
  • Post-go-live support window for defect fixes and configuration questions
  • Full git repository handover so your team or any other Frappe partner can maintain and extend the app
  • Data migration assistance for existing contracts, sites and chemical register from spreadsheets or a legacy system

Who this is for

Owner or Managing Director of a pest control firm

Runs the business on contract renewals and route density. Needs to see which contracts expire in the next 90 days, what each is worth, and whether technicians are completing scheduled visits — without waiting for a supervisor to compile a spreadsheet.

Service Supervisor or Operations Manager

Builds the weekly route, assigns technicians by licence class and geography, and reschedules around access failures and callbacks. Needs one screen showing the day's visits, who is on them, and which came back incomplete.

Compliance or Safety Officer

Answers to the regulator for every litre of restricted product applied. Needs a chemical usage record tied to a specific site, date, technician and licence, with SDS and registration details attached and exportable on demand.

Field Technician or Applicator

Works from a phone between sites. Needs the day's route, site access notes, the approved treatment plan and dose, and a fast way to record findings, capture a customer signature and close the visit before driving on.

Frequently Asked Questions about Pest Control Service Management

How long does delivery take?

This is a build-to-order application, not an instant download. Typical delivery is one working week from confirmed scope — that clock starts once we have agreed the DocTypes, treatment plan structure, chemical register fields and reports in writing after the scoping call. Larger scopes (multi-branch, heavy data migration, a custom field app on top of the API) are quoted with their own timeline before any work begins.

What happens with support and updates after go-live?

Every build includes a post-go-live support window for defect fixes and configuration questions, agreed in the quotation. You also receive the git repository, so your own team can maintain the app indefinitely. Beyond the included window we offer an optional support and maintenance agreement covering bug fixes, compatibility work when you upgrade Frappe/ERPNext, and new feature development quoted separately.

Which ERPNext versions does it support?

We build and test against Frappe/ERPNext v15 and v16, targeting the exact version and deployment you are running — self-hosted bench, Docker, or a Frappe Cloud private bench — confirmed during scoping. We do not ship a generic build and hope it installs.

Does this replace ERPNext stock, billing or CRM?

No, it extends them. Chemical consumption posts real Stock Entries against ERPNext warehouses so inventory ledger, batch traceability and valuation stay in one place. Contracts link to Customers and to a Sales Order or Subscription for recurring billing. The app owns the service-specific model — treatment plans, visits, applicator licences, certificates — and lets ERPNext own accounting and inventory.

Can technicians use it in the field without a separate mobile app?

Yes. Visit capture is built as a client script over the standard Frappe form, so it works in the Frappe mobile view on any phone browser, with photo upload and signature capture. If you later want a native or offline-capable field app, the whitelisted methods and REST endpoints are built to support it and we can quote that as a separate phase.

Will the chemical records satisfy our regulator?

We build the record to the fields and report layout your jurisdiction requires — registration number, active ingredient, batch, quantity applied, dilution, site, date, technician and licence number are the common set, captured at the point of application rather than reconstructed later. Bring your regulator's template or a recent inspection request to the scoping call and we scope the export to match it. We build to your stated requirement; we do not certify compliance on your behalf.

Can we extend or modify it ourselves afterwards?

Yes. It is a standard Frappe app: DocTypes, `hooks.py` doc events, scheduler events, server and client scripts, and whitelisted methods — no obfuscated code, no licence key, no runtime call home. You get the repository and the technical documentation, so any competent Frappe developer can pick it up.
