No. This is a build-to-order extension. ECOSIRE builds it in AL and installs it as a per-tenant extension directly on your Business Central environment. You are not downloading a generic app — you get one configured to your warehouse, document flows and item tracking setup.

A typical build is delivered in about 2 to 4 weeks: a short discovery on your scan workflows, locations and devices, then development, then deployment to your sandbox for UAT, and promotion to production after your sign-off. Heavily customized lot/serial or multi-location setups can take longer; we confirm the timeline before work starts.

Business Central ships monthly/major updates, and per-tenant extensions occasionally need recompilation against new platform versions. We offer an optional support retainer that covers compatibility testing against new BC releases, bug fixes, and small enhancements. Without a retainer you still own the AL source and can maintain it yourself or re-engage us per change.

No. Scanners and phones talk directly to Business Central over the REST/OData v4 API (or through scan pages in the BC web/mobile client). There is no extra integration server to host, patch or monitor — the logic lives inside your BC tenant.

Yes. Scan steps validate against your item tracking setup so lot and serial capture is enforced where you require it, and workflows are configurable per warehouse location — different bins, tolerances and confirmation rules per site.

You own the AL source for your tenant. Because it extends standard tables and pages cleanly via event subscribers, it coexists with other extensions. If you want a fully custom mobile UX, we can add a Power Apps front end backed by Dataverse and the BC API.
