This is a build-to-order WooCommerce plugin, not an instant download. After you order, ECOSIRE builds, installs, and configures the Tap Payments gateway directly on your live WordPress/WooCommerce site, then supports it. You are not buying a zip from a marketplace — you are buying a working, store-specific integration.
GCC shoppers expect local rails. WooCommerce core ships with Stripe, PayPal and a handful of Western methods — it has no native KNET, mada, Benefit, or Tap support. This plugin registers a proper WC_Payment_Gateway subclass so Tap appears as a first-class method on your checkout, fully theme-aware and block-checkout compatible.
Under the hood it hosts a Tap Charge and Token flow: the gateway creates a charge via the Tap API, redirects (or renders the embedded card form with 3DS), and reconciles the result through a server-to-server webhook that updates WooCommerce order status — so orders move to processing even if the customer closes the browser mid-redirect. Saved-card tokenization lets returning buyers check out without re-entering details.
We wire it into your real WordPress stack: settings live under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, the gateway respects HPOS / custom order tables, fires standard woocommerce_payment_complete actions so your emails, invoices and analytics all trigger, and exposes filters so we can tune behaviour per store. Refunds are issued straight from the order admin and pushed back to Tap via the API. Multi-currency and multi-country GCC configuration (Kuwait, KSA, UAE, Bahrain) is handled per your Tap merchant setup, and the admin UI is WPML / multisite-friendly.
You get a gateway built for your theme, your checkout (classic or block), and your Tap account — installed and verified by engineers, not left as a self-serve plugin you have to debug alone.

Is this an instant download from WordPress.org or WooCommerce.com?
No. This is a build-to-order integration. ECOSIRE builds the gateway plugin for your specific store, then installs and configures it on your live WordPress/WooCommerce site against your own Tap Payments account. There is no self-serve marketplace zip — you get a working, verified integration.
How long does delivery take?
Typical delivery is about 5 to 10 business days from the time we have your Tap merchant credentials and admin access to your WordPress site. Timing depends on your Tap account being approved and active, your theme/checkout setup, and the GCC methods and currencies you need enabled. We confirm a firm date after a short scoping call.
What do I need to provide before you start?
An active Tap Payments merchant account with live and test API keys, admin access to your WordPress site (or a staging copy), and confirmation of which methods (KNET, mada, Benefit, Apple Pay, BNPL) and currencies (KWD, SAR, AED, BHD) you want enabled. Apple Pay also requires your domain to be verified with Tap/Apple, which we help coordinate.
Do I get ongoing support and updates after launch?
Yes. The build includes a post-launch support and update window for bug fixes and compatibility with WooCommerce and Tap API changes. We can also arrange an ongoing maintenance retainer for long-term updates, new GCC methods, and WordPress/WooCommerce version upgrades beyond the included window.
Will it work with my theme, block checkout, and HPOS?
Yes. The gateway is a standard WC_Payment_Gateway implementation that renders on both classic and block-based (cart/checkout block) checkout, and it declares HPOS / custom-order-table compatibility so you keep WooCommerce's high-performance order storage. We verify all of this against your active theme during installation.
How are refunds and failed/abandoned payments handled?
Refunds (full or partial) are issued directly from the WooCommerce order admin and sent to Tap via the API. Payment outcomes are reconciled by a server-to-server webhook, so even if a shopper closes the browser during the 3DS redirect, the order still moves to the correct status when Tap notifies your site.
